Chapter 6
Roger opened his eyes and pushed himself up. He looked around at the palm trees and shivered as their leaves whipped violently from the wind.
Staggering to his feet, he fought the wind as he yelled for Royce. There was no answer except for the screaming wind.
The wind blew the soaked rabbit into the air and he crashed down in some thickets. Roger decided to lie flat until the storm passed.
But where was Royce? He had to go find him and see if the tiger made it. His mind raced at the thought of coming all this way just to lose him to a freak storm.
He crawled through the winds, staying as close to the trees as he could. It was like searching for a needle in a haystack.
