Chapter 14
"We've made it!" Roger cheered as the massive cat padded onto the beach, dripping water at each step.
The were-rabbit slid from the cat's back and lay upon the sand as joy over-came him.
"You did it!" He jumped up and danced around.
Royce laughed.
"It was that or drown." The large were-tiger said.
"Do you think they'll be after us?"
"Yes. While losing our trail, we need to walk all the way back to your home. Maybe if your fathers will help and tell us what's been going on since we've been gone." Royce said, staying in his tiger form.
"So we wouldn't be able to hitchhike?" Roger muttered, wanting badly to see his home and parents. He missed them so much that he couldn't stand it.
"We'll see your parents soon." Royce yawned. "Come on. We need to get going."
