Travis pulled up in front of Benny's flat at 7.15 a.m. 'Big place you've got.'
'It's not mine,' Benny said. ‘I just live in the downstairs flat.'
They got out and Travis opened the boot of his station wagon and hauled out Benny's bike. He pulled out the spare tyre and a spanner and undid the nuts, revealing a hidden storage place underneath. He pulled out the sports bag, replaced the storage cover and the tyre and slammed the boot shut.
An upstairs window opened and Leila's head appeared. She waved to Benny, then stopped when she saw Travis.
‘Who's your friend, Benny?' she called out.
'Jason!' Travis called out. 'Nice to meet you!'
