Leila was looking out her window as Benny got out of the taxi. She seemed to spend an awful lot of time looking out into the wide open world that she was too scared to be a part of.
She gave a low whistle. He was wearing the suit, shirt and tie he'd bought at Harrolds in the city, as well as the shiny black shoes to go with them. The pants were too long, but for an extra $50 they’d altered them for him while he went into the trendy cafe next door and ordered a green smoothie. To his surprise, he rather liked it.
