Sophia rushed through the college hallway. She was late for her literature class. Her books were falling from her hands. On the other side, Ethan Carter was coming with his hockey team. He was wearing his new white hockey jersey. Everyone was looking at him. He was the captain of the hockey team and the most handsome boy in college. Sophia didn't see him. And BAM! Hot coffee fell all over Ethan's expensive white jersey. The whole hallway became silent. Ethan looked at his jersey, then at Sophia. His blue eyes were full of anger. "Are you blind?" he shouted. "Do you know how expensive this jersey is? My final match is today!" "I... I'm so sorry! It was an accident!" Sophia said, her voice shaking. She tried to clean it with her handkerchief. "Don't touch me!" Ethan said coldly. "You nerds always ruin everything." Sophia's eyes filled with tears. Everyone was laughing at her. Ethan came closer to Sophia and said in a low voice, "You will pay for this. Come to the hockey ground after college. If you don't come, I will complain to the principal." He left. Sophia stood there crying. She didn't know that this coffee accident would change her whole life. After college, Sophia slowly went to the hockey ground. Ethan was there alone, practicing. "You came," he said. "What do you want me to do?" Sophia asked. Ethan smiled, but it was not a sweet smile. "You ruined my lucky jersey. Now you will be my lucky charm. My ex-girlfriend was supposed to cheer for me in the final, but she left. Now YOU will be my fake girlfriend for 30 days. You will come to all my games, wear my team shirt, and pretend you love me." "What? No! I can't!" Sophia shouted. "I hate hockey players!" "You have no choice, nerd. If you say no, I will make sure you fail in this college," Ethan said coldly. Sophia was scared. What should she do? Becoming the fake girlfriend of the most arrogant boy in college? "Okay," she whispered. Ethan's face changed. "Good. From tomorrow, you are mine.
