I was so upset with everything that has happened so far, and I just didn’t know what to do at this moment. Everything felt so choked up, and I wanted to slam something so hard. But, instead, I moved to the bar beside my bed and poured a drink for myself.
I threw the drink down, allowing it to burn inside of me. There was a lot that was going on now, and I have to make sure that everything would be fine. The only thing that would give me was pain and nothing more.
“I’m sorry, Alpha. It was not my intention to put you in danger based on my suggestion. I would accept it if you slit off my neck now as a penance for my sins. I have wronged you so much and it’s so painful how everything had been for some time now,” Beta Malone said from his place.
