I looked around the empty kitchen, and took a deep breath, trying to steady my hands on the dough that I was kneading. There was so much that was going on here that was so confusing, and I had no idea what to do at the moment. It was too much for me to handle, no matter how much I tried to think on the best way to handle it all. The truth was that I had no idea where I stood after what happened yesterday.
I sighed lightly as I shoved the bowl underneath me forward, heaving a sigh like I had run a race. My wolf threatened to come out, but I shoved her back. I did have the liberty to shift like I used to do earlier, so it would be for the best to put my emotions in check. Nothing must go wrong this time, and I had to make sure of that.
