This time, I will survive!

I remembered everything clearly as if it was yesterday, the December of 25th. The day of Christmas, I saw a video that was posted on the internet by someone named Unknown. At first I paid it no mind because the first few seconds of the video was just black. But then, I saw something horrifying that almost made me vomit. It was a video recorded by a Dash Cam in North America, at first it was just a normal traffic situation, but a person was suddenly thrown on the front of the car and he was torn into shreds. His body was missing an arm and a leg, his torso was torn out and his organs are showing, you can even see some of them are missing. His face only showed horror, but that wasn’t the end of it. The body of the mutilated man began to shake, after that he stayed still for a moment only for it to quickly sat up and moved he's head, left to right as if finding something. Suddenly he stopped moving his head only to quickly turn around in-front of the camera and started banging on the rear-view mirror. he was growling and was scratching the mirror. The driver was already horrified and was screaming, not long after that screams were heard as well the cars began to stop. Everyone was beginning to run as mutilated bodies followed their tracks. The driver of the said car took the dash cam and turn it towards him. he said, "Everyone! Run!" The video was cut of when the driver was suddenly grabbed by the head by the bodies and the cam captured how he screamed and pleaded as the bodies began taking out chunks of his flesh from his body and clawing out his inside. I began to take deep breaths as I compose myself from not throwing up by the sidewalk.  I began to walk towards my house, the video was obviously fake. If that situation is true, then the media and the government would have alerted the citizens to evacuate. But I still can shake the thoughts that it was true, so I decided to call my brother who is currently in the North America Military Base. It rang and seconds later he answered, "Yes lil'sis? Did you miss your brother?" Just the typical answer I get from him, its seems that there's nothing wrong. "I was just going to ask if there are cases there involving mutilated bodies of dead people coming back to life, like you know, zombies?" I asked him, he didn't answer for a second. he finally answered, but his answer isn't what was I was expecting. "It's true sis. That's why I'm coming to get you today. There's a virus outbreak in one of the secret facilities that were researching a fallen meteorite that was found on the north of the axel heiberg island, Canada. The research team wa-" The call was cut off. I tried to call him back but it was out of reach. I feel like something wrong happened to my brother. But I can't do anything besides walking home and lock the doors. I began to pack food and water and some of my clothes, I then got the medical kit under the sink. My brother is a soldier so its possible to hide some fire arms and weapons in our house, for emergency purposes. I entered the passcode of the secret stash of weaponry my brother customized behind my closet. I began to get some bullets for my Glock 19 and machine pistol 9. I then headed down with a large bag on my back and sat on the couch. I began to call my brother again. I felt relieved that he answered, "Sorry lil'sis for cutting our call earlier, we have to pass a checkpoint earlier so we have to turn our phones off" He said while I heard someone say that they have arrive in our area. My brother picked me up, but suddenly Green colored meteorites began showing in the sky. My brother panicked as the meteorites began to land at any direction, but it was no use. We all suddenly got drowsy, as if we were given some sleeping pills. After that the world became hell. That was the worse Christmas present I got for the rest of my life. I suddenly got out from my thoughts as a gust of wind blew onto my face, it is currently the year 2027. 10 years after the zombie virus breakout. I'm currently at the rooftop of a 25 story apartment and observing the zombies below, there are mostly level 1 & 2 zombies down there. The level 3 up should be at the outer parts of the city. I'm currently staying here for the past 2 weeks because of the zombie hoard outside and that this apartment is full of supplies, but I notice something began to happen.  The zombies began to evolve. AGAIN?! But the worst thing is that they all began to evolve the same time! The zombies began to grow some wings and others are body armor. This is bad, real bad! I got my sword and began to run towards the stairs on the rooftop, I saw the flying zombies beginning to advance towards me, but I manage to lock the door and barricade it. I began to run down the stairs towards the 15th floor, but the zombies broke the barricades and glass on the 1st floor so I decided to enter a room near the fire exit. I opened it and took a deep breath, but I heard the scraping of something sharp on my back. God...this must be the worst decision I've ever made, I slowly turned around to find a Lone Walker looking at me while grinning. Yeah...the most worst decision ever. "I didn't expect to see a lonely zombie hiding in here, as if it's to shy to go out." I said as I activated one of the skills I earned for the last 5 years, "Physical Enhancement" I said as my body emitted a scarlet red hue, I then took my sword from my back and positioned myself to fight. The Lone Walker was pissed to my remarks earlier and charge at me first. It first tried to grabbed my head but I quickly dodged it, next comes my back, which I was thankful for my fast reflexes. If I didn't dodge that I would have been mushed. I was preparing to attack again but, the lone walker suddenly evolve, thus making my chances of winning dropped to 0. I was already at my limit, but this zombie began to evolve, Wow...They must really hate me for doing this to me. The lone walker screamed that made my ears hurt, I felt the presence of the zombie horde coming closer. I think this is my time. The Lone Walker began to run fast towards me, I managed to dodge the first 3 attacks from it but luck really wasn't on my side. It manages to stabbed me on the left side of my chest, I coughed out blood as the stinging sensation began to make me numb. It bitted of a piece my arm as I screamed in pain, my vision began to blurry because I was losing a lot blood from my chest. My body became numb, I then saw the door knocked over and the zombies began flooding the room. They began to feast on me, I wasn't in pain, but all I could think about in that moment is that if I were to be reborn or if I was bought back before all of this happened I would spend my life to the fullest so that I won't have any regrets. And I would also want to save my brother and to survive until this apocalypse is over. I want to exterminate every zombies in the world, I would make them pay for what they did to my brother, my family! That was the last thoughts to ever cross my mind after that, I blacked out.
