Chapter 5

Rea saw everything that they did to her friend but couldn't do anything. She saw the humiliation, pain and tears. As Rea was going home, she felt the pain that she could have done something but couldn't. She couldn't take the risk of getting involved with Alex, although she wanted to but not in the state she was. She picked up her phone and dialed Alice’s number but she didn't pick it. She was in a crazy state now. Alex was Indeed an asshole… A big one. Flashing back to what she heard from other students that caused the predicament of Alice, she found out that Alex was punishing her because of what she said about him. How did she hear all of that, she asked herself. After a great thought, she decided to go home, she had a lot of questions she wanted to ask her.

Getting home, Alice took her bath and had a change of clothes. Sitting on the chair and looking at the table, eating her dinner, she thought about what had happened to her in school as well as the words that the two females said. She should have been careful when talking about Alex in his little mansion knowing that he was going to hear all that she was saying. As she ate the pizza, tears rolled down her eyes...she missed the moment with her mother and her father. As she kept eating and crying, she heard a knock on her door.

"Who is there"

"Your pretty damsel"

Alice knew who was there and had no need to ask any other questions, she just walked towards the door, opened it and hugged Rea.

"It's okay darling" Rea said as Alice kept crying.

Alex walked down the balcony with pride. He had been notified that the cook that was recently admitted has resigned. Well that's not a bad thing for him, he will make sure that he pays what he buys...as he keeps this pace down to the balcony, he also thought about his marriage and him becoming an alpha. As his father said, being an alpha comes with a lot of responsibility like protecting the pack and taking some decisions that concern the pack. He also thought about who is going to be his wife. Ever since he had entered high school, his interest for girls had reduced so drastically that he hardly had time for girls. He truly wished that he could see someone who could make him fall in love. He truly hopes so.

As days went by, the news about Alex's wedding came up and many young ladies kept themselves gloomy so as to make Alex's heart fall for them. As many people go about getting ready for his birthday and choosing of marriage, Alice did not care about it. Alice which she could show concern about the Marriage but he can't not in this aspect. Many things goes through her mind as she stays at the football pitch looking at the vast field with the carpet grass.

"What are you doing here"

Alice looked at her friend as she sat close to her

"Nothing. Just thinking about my life and many More"

"That's sounds unusual of you, can you share that with me"

"What did you want to know exactly...I have a lot of things in my mind that I can't even state"

"Hmmm. Can you tell me about the other things, I want to mind my business on your life thing"

Alice smiled, why is she saying this now..he wondered.

"Okay" she turned and looked at her with the girlish eye," didn't you notice the way many of our colleague are running towards becoming Alex wife"

Rea looked at her with a surprise, it's normal for them to do that because Alex had all it takes to be every girl man so it's normal but if she tells her friend that, it will not only cause disagreement between them but might even cause a lot of problems fit both of them which might cost her ruining the best relationship that that they have built for years.

"Ohh I see, but do they have a choice?"

"Of course they do, it is not a most they marry Alex... although he is going to be the best alpha but that doesn't means that they cant choose for themselves"

"You bet, marrying Alex is a sweet decision to take as they will not only not be marrying an alpha but also having the full control of the pack"

"So being the Lycan is their only aim...why can't they see fae than that"

Rea looked at her friend, "we all know that we all have the way we reason and think, if we choose to be good and natural it's fine but for this.... I think this is all I have to say"

"I get you. Based on fact all of us want something good but none of us think about what we are going to face of we decided to do that... marrying Alex is not the thing but your dream and career"

"So our little fear friend, what's your dream if it's not being the Lycan queen?"

Alice gave what her friend said a thought. Truly what is her dream if not that. Every werewolf usually has the decision of being in control but had she ever thought about any other option.... apart from that.

"You see, you can't give any answers to that because you don't have any other ambition than to be that but your only point of view is that you don't like Alex. That's all"

"You are right about me not liking Alex but wrong about my ambition...not every Lycan queen has great power in the pack, there are also some successful werewolf that many others mates give respect to"

"I see your point but that can't up to the great respect that they are going to give the Lycan queen...that alone is enough to be a great dream for them" Rea said.
