The next day came and students came to school as usual but the only difference is that today is Friday. In the werewolf world, things are usually in order and seniority is held at high esteem. Today, which is Friday, lectures are not usually held and students are meant to do sport till afternoon. It's the norm for this school. Alice walked towards Rea, who was looking extensively at where the guys were playing football.
"Hey girl" Alice said as she taps her friend gently
"Hello baby, how are you doing"
"Fine and happy, I mean too happy"
"I can see that, it's radiating all over your face, I hope you like you new job"
"Sure I can't wait to resume this afternoon after school"
"You bet, don't you see that i am a great being"
"Ahhh great indeed, I can see that you are lying much attention to them playing that thing" Alice said motioning to the male playing the football
"Yeah, it actually fun watching them play"
"Hmm...I see"
Rea looked at her friend as she thought about what she wanted to do. Will she be happy if she sees that the person that has the place she wants to work for is the prison she didn't love nor like. Many thoughts ran through her mind as she thought about all of them. What can she do that will make her clear from all this thought. Then it suddenly struck her, tell her but use another method. She will do that.
"Alice, have you ever thought of meeting your greatest challenge in your new place of work?"
Alice took her time before she replied. Why did her friend as such a question
"I have never thought about that before but why did you ask...did you think I will face a great challenge in the place? Did you have any info about that place that can hurt me? Did anyone know me there and want to hurt me?"
Rea looked at her as she asked her questions. There is only one answer to the question but she can't say it, if she does, she will lose the opportunity of being so close to Alex through Alice. although she has not thought of the way she is going to achieve that but she knows that she will get close to him
"Look Alice, I can only tell you one thing,a thing that you need to hold as you are starting your work...no matter what, no matter what anybody tells you, no matter how much anyone decides to push you, never give up. Never lose hope and keep your ground, you will definitely overcome if you do that" Rea said... At least if she can't say the truth she has to give her something that can push her through if she later finds out.
Alex looks at Alice and one other girl besides her. The more he looks at Alice, the more he smiles and becomes more happy. She escaped yesterday because of the little prank the teacher pulled and Alex had to comply with his father's instructions of no bullying of any teachers. Alex could not wait for the school to close and she got to her work. Alex thought of the way he is going to suffer for what he did to him. Why in hell will she splash mud on his shoe? Is she not healthy enough to see him coming and walks gently but she underestimates him and what he can do. Alex swore inwardly and licked his lips, someone is about to suffer again.
"You are welcome Alice, I hope you find something to do concerning your hair" the head of servant said
"Ma, I can't anything to the hair, I was born with it ma"
"Ohh... special breeds right"
"Something of such" Alice said as she and the head of servant walked down to the young master providence. Getting there, Alice thought she saw someone like Alex walk inside a room but she neglected it.
It can't be him, she said to herself.
"So you will be working with the cook, ''the head chef said.
My dream came to pass, Alice said Inwardly, and replied, "yes ma'am"
"I hope you do a great job here" she said
"Yes ma'am I promise"
"Good. The other mates will direct you on how you work here as well as your accommodations, congratulations once again"
"Thank you ma" she said with a smile and the head of the servants went off. Alice's mind went on full blast into space when she saw how big the young master’s providence was. With her bag on her shoulders, she walked down to one of the fellow servants, "hello I am Alice, a new cook just been employed recently"
"Ohh that's nice, welcome" the girl said
"So would you mind directing me on how I go about my job?"
"Sure, I am also a cook and my name is Gloria"
"Ohh nice to meet you"
"Same here, I hope you enjoy your stay here" Gloria said
Alice noted the way Gloria said the word along with her intonation. She is not very good in English but she can note things like this under figure of speech.
"I am counting on you to enjoy my stay" Alice said, Gloria gave Alice a sharp long look. Alice backs down a little and Gloria stops. She did not intend to scare her or tell her anything concerning the truth anymore. She will find out about it sooner or later.
"Sure I will" Gloria said and fake a smile, Alice smiled back and they both moved to the servant quarters.
"Alex I want you to know that you can't be an alpha without a wife" his father, the Lycan king said
"Yes dad I know that but just that I am kod and not ready to marry besides if I can cut that off the rules and-"
"You can't go against the rules. Our world depends on that"
"Dad I know but I am not too ready to carry the responsibility of being a husband and an alpha"
