His siblings had mastered their abilities early on—lightning, fire, and telekinesis—but Sirken remained ordinary, or so he thought. It was on his fifteenth birthday that everything changed. He had gone to bed restless, frustrated by his lack of power. That night, a strange dream overtook him. He found himself in the middle of a dark forest, pursued by a shadowy figure. As the figure closed in, panic surged through Sirken, and time seemed to freeze. The birds stopped mid-flight, the wind halted, and even the menacing shadow was locked in place. Sirken gasped, waking abruptly in his bed, drenched in sweat. The terror of the dream lingered, but something was different. His room was exactly as it had been the night before—the same book on the floor, the same flickering candle—but the clock...it had reversed by an hour. He repeated his actions, disbelief giving way to awe. Sirken had unknowingly tapped into a power far greater than any his family possessed.
