Five more years passed.
Grace Cole was now eighteen years old and had graduated at the top of her class. Like her parents before her, she dreamed of designing buildings that would change lives rather than simply fill city skylines.
On the morning university acceptance letters were released, the entire family gathered around the breakfast table.
Grace stared at the email on her laptop, her hands trembling.
"I can't open it."
Sophia smiled.
"You've worked hard for this. Whatever happens, we're proud of you."
Ethan nodded.
"Always."
Taking a deep breath, Grace clicked the message.
A few seconds later, she gasped.
"I got in!"
Tears filled her eyes.
"I've been accepted into the University of Cambridge's architecture program!"
