Chapter 31 – Into the Trap
Rain fell steadily over London as darkness settled across the city.
Inside the temporary police command center near Riverside Heights, Detective Whitmore placed a map of the abandoned riverside warehouse on the table.
"The message is almost certainly a trap," he said. "Victor wants Ethan to act emotionally."
Ryan nodded.
"So we don't give him what he wants."
Ethan remained silent, studying the map.
After a long pause, he finally spoke.
"We're going."
Whitmore looked at him.
