"My mate? What a joke!" He scoffed, briefly averting his stare away from me. "I, JARED EMBRY, ALPHA OF THE GREYSTONE PACK, REJECT YOU, SARAH FENRIR AS MY MATE AND LUNA" He asserted with power, turning his piercing stare back on me.Just then, I felt a sudden pang of hurt, guilt and pain shoot through my entire nerves, making me weak and helpless. I had thought rejecting me as his mate and Luna was going to be the best part of my life but I guess it wasn't.

FORCED MARRIAGE.
Forced Marriage. Sarah's POV "Sarah, I've already told you what you must do, and I won't tolerate any atom of disobedience from you! Do you understand that?" My foster father's voice echoed through the walls of my room, his words demanding my obedience. He wanted me to go with him to the Greystone pack the next morning, where I would be forced to marry someone I didn't think was right for me. "But dad... I'm not ready to be married to anyone yet, especially not that heartless Alpha!" I shouted back, my words filled with frustration and resistance. I wasn't prepared to leave my pack, the Crescent moon pack and go into a new and unknown pack. What made it even worse was the idea of being mated to the ruthless Alpha Jared, who was the Leader of the pack located in the forbidding North side of the woods, a place no Omega would dare to set foot. I understood that marrying a dominant Alpha like Jared would be seen as a great honour and privilege, elevating me to the desirable position of being Luna, the most powerful and respected female in the pack. However, my apprehension stemmed from the numerous chilling tales I had heard about the mighty Alpha Jared. They painted a picture of a powerful yet cruel, heartless, and indifferent leader who had brutally battered his previous mate during a full moon. I feared the possibility of falling into the same trap and facing horrible consequences if I ever ended up with him. "Listen, Sarah, I am your father, and you will follow my orders without question! I won't tolerate any resistance from you ever again!" He warned, and in that moment, I wished I had never known him. "He is the Alpha you must get married to for the Pack's sake, and you will accept him as your Mate tomorrow, whether you like him or not! Not another word from you!" He shouted at me, his tone filled with authority, leaving me trembling with fear and disbelief. I felt a deep sense of worry as my father denied me the opportunity to make my own decision about who I would spend the rest of my life with. He continued to bombard me with orders, mocking me with supposed moral justifications for marrying Alpha Jared. And It seemed clear that he had no intention of stopping his controlling behaviour anytime soon. "So you expect me to marry someone I don't love, Dad? Is this your version of love that you claim to have for me?" I scoffed, looking at him with tear-filled and terrified eyes. He simply shook his head, his face contorted in a disappointed expression, as if my reaction had disappointed him. Then, he rose from the couch where he had been seated and walked towards the door. As he reached the exit, he paused for a moment and, in a faint tone, declared, "We are leaving at dawn, Sarah, and you will do as you're told! Now, get some rest," he said before finally leaving the room. As I sat there on my bed and processed his words, it became painfully clear that my father had already made the decision to send me away and force me into a marriage with a man I had no emotional connection to, without even informing me beforehand. A sense of unease washed over me as I realised the kind of man he truly was. He was relentless in his pursuits, never one to let go easily, and it seemed this situation would be no exception. Lying there in the darkness, I was consumed by a mix of anger, pain, and confusion. The chilling grip of despair tightened around me, leaving me feeling helpless and feeble. Soft sobs escaped from my lips, resembling the cries of a little pup. I sobbed profusely as though my world was going to be crashing down the following morning. ****** Early the next morning, to my surprise, I was greeted with a smile and treated kindly, unlike any treatment I had ever received from my foster Dad since he took me in at a young age. "Take a shower and get dressed Sarah!! We need to arrive at our destination before noon!" Dad ordered, his voice dripping with contempt as he sneered at me before leaving the room once again. I shook my head, still unable to fully grasp the reality of what I was about to do. My thoughts began to drift back to the previous conversation I had with my Dad, but I fought against allowing those thoughts to fully consume me. Resisting the urge to dwell on it further, I got out of bed and headed straight to the bathroom. Fenrir was not someone to be disobeyed. He despised having to repeat himself. Having finished my shower, I had a simple breakfast of rye bread and milk. As I ate, I noticed a spotless white outfit carefully placed on my bed. "Sarah, that's for you. Get dressed quickly," he commanded, his eyes fixed on me. Reluctantly, I put on the white bridal attire, preparing myself to accompany him to the Greystone pack. "But Dad, maybe we can..." I started to speak, but he abruptly interrupted me. "Not another word, Sarah!" he ordered, rushing out of the house and making his way to where his car was parked. We climbed into the car, and soon we were on our way from the Crescent pack, going deeper into the woods as we made our journey towards the northern woods. We travelled for miles, heading north through the woods in order to reach the Greystone pack. However, the further we went, the more distant it seemed. Finally, as evening approached after the long and exhausting journey, we arrived at the Greystone pack territory. It was adorned with beautifully crafted stones, from the gates to the grand mansion. "Maybe the people here will be different from those I had to deal with in the Crescent pack," I thought to myself, reflecting on the constant bullying and snide remarks I endured because I didn't have a mate. "Make sure you behave yourself, Sarah. We have arrived," Dad stated sternly, his glare fixed on me. I shifted my gaze away from him, uncertain whether or not I should respond to his words. As we neared the pack's mansion, a surge of excitement mixed with anxiety surged through me, causing my heart to race uncontrollably. Doubts started to creep into my mind, making me question if this decision was truly right. Upon stepping into the mansion, I was captivated by its enchanting and exquisite design. It left me in awe and admiration. "This is what his home looks like..." I whispered under my breath, attempting to calm my racing heart. "Is this thing my bride?" A deep manly voice uttered from a distance filled with anger. I gasped and turned to see whose voice I had just heard, only to be met with a chilling presence of coldness and ruthlessness. The aura surrounding him exuded a strong sense of cruelty. "I asked, is this thing standing here my bride!?" He thundered this time, causing me to tremble and collapse to my knees in sheer terror, wondering what fate awaited me next.
