Sarah's POV. I furrowed my brows as I slowly opened my eyes, greeted by the harsh brightness of the room. I winced in pain as the sharp light stabbed at my head, prompting me to instinctively shield my eyes. With my head throbbing, I held it gingerly, attempting to adapt to the glaring environment. Gradually, I managed to open my eyes wider, even though my vision remained blurred. I discerned the outline of a familiar female figure, and I rubbed my eyes with the back of my palms as I attempted to sit up.
