However, as Agnes was looked upon more as a resident than a guest, there was always a table booked under her name. “That was wonderful,” Agnes said, as the waiter cleared the table. “Please pass on our compliments to the chef.” “I will indeed, madam,” he replied. “Would you like coffee?” “Yes, please,” she replied. She wasn't really bothered about having coffee, but she didn't want to leave the restaurant; not yet anyway. The buzz of the people around her was invigorating.
