Bailee’s POV
I hurry up the steps, pulling the heavy door toward me and stepping out into the brightly lit foyer. Blinking, it takes me a couple of seconds to clear my vision, only to find my father, brother, and brother-in-law all standing waiting for me, arms crossed over their chests.
‘Care to explain yourself Bailee?’ my father demands, giving me that same look he’d give me as a child when I had done something really really bad.
I open my mouth when Caden’s voice booms loudly in my head.
‘Bailee! Get your ass up to my office NOW!’
I cringe as my eyes clear and I quickly duck past the three men, ‘sorry, I’ve got to go, Caden just summoned me’ I call over my shoulder as I head for the stairs.
