Bailee’s POV
‘Bailee?’ my sister prompts me, her gaze scouring my face for the truth.
‘I . . . ‘ I mutter unsure how to answer her, do I have feelings for him?
Again I’m bombarded with memories of his hands on my body, a shiver running through me instinctively.
‘oh Bails’ my sister murmurs, glancing back at her Mate for help.
‘He’s a good man’ I grumble, ‘just a little rough, he’s not dangerous.’
Caden stands up, walking over and helping my sister to her feet before holding out a hand to me.
‘I need to speak to our guest’ he states firmly, ‘and you need to go back home Bailee, I mean it! You need to stay away from him until I’ve spoken to him, I want your word.’ He glowers at me, waiting for me to raise my head before I slowly nod.
