Bailee’s POV
Stepping back into my parents’ house, it’s like déjà vu, my mother and father are both waiting for me, faces stern as I quietly close the door behind me.
‘Bailee Marie Sparks’ my mother starts and I instantly hold up my hand to stop her from continuing.
‘I’ve already had my ass chewed out by Caden and Jamie-Lee’ I sigh, ‘I really do not need a third chastising from my parents. I’m not a little girl anymore, I made a decision, and my Alpha has dealt with me, can you please just not do this?’
My mother’s mouth opens but my father cuts across her nodding, ‘you are right’ he agrees, ‘you are not a child anymore, your actions had consequences for the pack not just our family, it is Caden’s decision how it is handled.’
