Chapter 3: The Party

LUCY’S POV

My sister can actually drive a car so she borrowed mom’s car on the way to her friend’s house. When we arrived there were so many people and the music was so loud and people are so noisy, it’s so good to see other people around “Hey! Mika!” A girl was yelling from the distance “Hey Sarah” she said while they hugged “I’m so happy you came” the girl said while I looked at her head to toe. “Oh, Sarah this is my brother, Matthew,” she said “Nice to meet you, Matthew,” The girl said “Nice to meet you too Sarah,” He said while they shook hands, I cleared my throat because it seems that my sister is forgetting someone “Oh, and this is my sister, Lucy,” She said with a nervous tone. I don’t really get why my family looks so afraid of me all I did was tell them to raise me more properly “Oh nice to meet you, Lucy,” she said with a smile reaching her hand to mine “Nice to meet you too” I said with a normal tone

As we all finished with the introductions I started to roam around the whole house, the house really looked like a mansion it’s really big. While I was looking around I suddenly bumped into someone “watch where you’re going” I said “Oh I’m sorry miss, are you hurt” He said helping me get up “Of course I’m hurt, I fell” I told him with an angry tone “Sorry” he said with a giggle and smile “My name’s Jacob, Jacob Colin. What’s yours” He said with a smile “Lucy, Lucy Cohen,” I said to him with a fierce look “Nice to meet you, Lucy,” He said grabbing my hand and shaking it “Don’t touch me,” I told him as I pulled back my arm. “so, are you new around here,” He asked, Ugh he is so annoying. “Yes I’m new and it is none of your business,” I told him as I continued walking “Wow you’re so mean,” He said with a laugh “Yeah so? Get lost” I told him “wait, I wanna hang out some more,” He said “You’re not gonna like me, trust me, I know what you’re doing,” I told him “Oh you don’t know what I’m doing, I’m just being friendly you know,” He said

“Well I don’t need your friendliness, goodbye,” I said walking away from him. He stopped bothering me now but then I started feeling thirsty so I looked for something to drink. While I was at the corner drinking my sister Mika suddenly approached me “Hey gurl, you having fun” she asked “Do I look like I’m having fun” I told her with a stressful tone. “yikes, what happened” she asked “it’s just, there was this guy I bumped into and he was so incredibly annoying he was getting on my nerves” I said as I drank from my cup “Ooooo looks like someone’s interested in you” she said with her teasing tone “who’s this guy, where is he right now, can you point me” She said while looking around. “Him over there talking to Sarah,” I said pointing at the boy, She gasped and said “Oh my gosh, it’s Sarah’s little brother, what a coincidence” “doesn’t look like a coincidence to me,” I said with a suspicious tone. After a few minutes of talking to some of Mika’s friends I felt a really really painful headache, I held my head and started to kneel on the floor “Lucy? Are you okay?” I heard Mika said but I couldn’t focus because of the pain, and then suddenly, everything became pitch black.

STELLA’S POV

I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was the floor, but it didn’t look like our floor, I got really confused so I looked around, I saw so many people, I saw myself I’m wearing a red crop top and a short black skirt with sneakers, I must’ve been Lucy earlier, and she’s on a party. Seeing all the people around me especially staring at me makes me anxious, I couldn’t handle seeing so many people outside “Lucy?” A familiar voice said, I looked up I saw my sister, she must’ve invited lucy, but why. I started to scream, seeing all the people around me made my heart beat nonstop, I couldn’t stop yelling

I heard someone talking to Mika “Isn’t that your sister” the girl said to her “what, no no that is not my sister” she said with a slightly nervous tone, how could she do this. I untied my hair and quickly ran outside while screaming, I couldn’t run properly because of what I’m wearing. I looked back while running and no one was following me, while I was looking back I accidentally bumped into someone, it’s a girl, I started to scream “oh no no I’m so so sorry are yo-” she paused, she looked shocked when she saw me “Mia? I mean, Lucy?” She said looking shocked, who is she, I don’t know her, she must be one of Mia’s friends “No, and no” I said quietly “Oh you’re neither, then you must be her third personality, Stella” she said then I just nodded at her. Mia must’ve told her about her disorder, wow she trusts people easily huh “are you okay? What happened to you why were you running away” she asked, I just looked at her then looked away, I couldn’t talk. “I see you’re not much of a talker aren’t you, it’s okay you can stay at my place for a while,” she said with a smile, and again I didn’t answer anything.

She grabbed my arm and dragged me to their place, my heart started beating slowly but I’m still nervous, I guess I can trust her since she’s a friend of Mia’s. After walking for a minute we arrived at her place, her house really looked simple it was really pretty “I’m home, Amy” she yelled “welcome home Olivia, oh and you brought a visitor” She smiled “yup, Her name’s Mia Cohen, she has Dissociative Identity Disorder and right now she’s on her third personality the shy and quiet one so who can’t expect her to talk much” She shrugged “Oh, I understand, well why is she here tho it’s 8:37 PM” her sister asked “oh, well I bumped into her while I was walking the streets, she looked really terrified. Judging by her clothing she was Lucy earlier, her second personality, I guess she suddenly turned to Stella while at a party, that must’ve been really traumatizing for you huh Stella” she said as I nodded “Can she stay for tonight Amy, she can’t talk so I can’t take her home” the girl said begging her sister, well she seems nice, no wonder Mia trusts her. “of course Olivia, it’s dangerous outside now that it’s night, she can stay for the night” She smiled “thank you so much Amy” Olivia said hugging her big sister “you can sleep with me, I have two separate beds” She said while dragging me up to her room “See, you can sleep there” she pointed at a bed on the other corner of the room, I shyly smiled and went to the bed

“you must’ve been really tired, alright I’ll let you rest now, I’ll just go eat downstairs so I’ll close the light and door for you,” She said as she approached her door, when she was about to close the door, I started to talk “Thank You,” I said to her, she started to giggle “You’re welcome Stella” She smiled then closed the door. I never knew how great it feels to have someone and the only one you trust, I started to close my eyes to sleep.

LILY’S POV

I opened my eyes and saw it was morning, my body hurts a lot. I looked at my surroundings and saw that I’m in an unfamiliar room and in an unfamiliar bed, I saw there was a girl on the other corner of a bed, who is she. I wonder what happened, why am I here, Who’s house is this. “Good morning Stella,” The girl said, she knows Stella, she must be her friend “Hello and good morning” I happily said to her “Who are you, where am I, what happened,” I said with a loud confused tone “Oh! You must be Lily” She said “How did you know who I am,” I told her with a very obvious confused face, she giggled “I know all of you, Mia, Lucy, Stella, you, and Skylar,” She said with a smile as I gasped really loudly “You’re a stalker!” I said to her “Oh, no no, I’m Mia’s friend, she told me all about you guys” She said with a friendly smile “Oh! Is that so, In that case, It’s so nice to meet you” I told her with a really wide smile, she giggled and smiled and said “Nice to meet you too, my name’s Olivia” She said “go downstairs, I’ll tell you everything” she said to me as I followed her downstairs

When I went downstairs I saw another girl, she looks taller than Olivia “good morning Olivia, good morning Stella” She said “Oh, Amy this isn’t Stella anymore, this is Lily” Olivia said with a smile “Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to offend you” Amy said “no no it’s okay, It’s nice to meet you, Amy isn’t it” I said with a happy smile “yeah, sorry it’s a little difficult to catch up with your, disorder” Amy said sincerely “Oh it’s fine everyone’s having a hard time, except unlike you two, they were like OH MAH GOSH SHE’S CRAZY” I said while laughing so hard while I saw the two taking it seriously “But who am I to care, I don’t care what people say, as long as I am happy” I smiled widely “well lunch is ready so eat up you two” Amy said while she gave us food. I started eating and I enjoyed the food a lot. I wish I have a family like she does.

“so, you’re saying I ran into you while I was Stella because she was in a party full of people?” I said “Yeah, and I feel really bad for you, so I decided to take you home first,” She said “well thank you for that, I owe you a lot,” I said “Oh no, you don’t owe me anything, as a friend, it is my duty to help a friend in need,” she said confidently “thanks again Olivia,” I said as I continued eating. After I ate lunch I helped them with the house chores like the Dishes and the table. After all the cleaning we sat down on the couch “so Lily what time are you going home” Olivia asked “Probably tonight, I don’t really wanna go home as soon as possible” I said smiling widely “well, it’s okay for us, you can take your time” Amy said “thanks again for everything Olivia” I said to her very sincerely “You’re welcome” She smiled. After talking to each other we decided to watch a movie, so we sat down, relaxed and enjoyed the show.

7:31 PM, I decided to go back home now “Do you really have to go” Amy said with a sad tone “yeah sorry guys, I’m happy you guys were happy to hang out with me, I’ll come back another time” I smiled “We’ll be waiting” Olivia and Amy said waving goodbye as I waved back at them. I honestly didn’t wanna leave I just have no choice, I wish I could stay with them forever but I just can’t, can I. I finally arrived home, as I opened the door I see mother cooking, my sister looking at herself in the mirror and my brother using his phone “I’m home” I yelled happily “Oh hey Mia” Mika said with a not so energetic tone “Correction I am Lily” I said energetic as ever and no one seemed to care, I cleared my throat “Welp it seems that nobody cares but that’s okay! I am used to this” I said laughing loudly “Will you be quiet it’s literally 7:57 PM” My brother yelled “well maybe you should tell yourself that before you tell me to shut up” I laughed a lot more then everything was silent again

”well I am gonna take a rest upstairs now, I have already eaten dinner in case you guys are wondering okay!” I smiled widely “Okay goodnight everyone,” I said as I ran upstairs to my room. I yawned and changed my clothes to the outfit Skylar would wear because I’m sure as I wake up in the morning I will be waking up as Skylar, well 50/50, but I’ll still wear it in case, then I’ll leave her fake glasses beside the bed. And now I am going to rest Gooood night happy but corrupt world, I closed my eyes and fall asleep.
