Ellie crossed her arms over her chest and lifted her chin, feeling very uncomfortable that the attention of everyone present was riveted on her.
"Everything is fine with me. Mr Fury was very kind to let him stay and take over his guest room.” She stopped and stared at Director Boris with open dislike. “Several members of a hate group picketing outside this area almost managed to kidnap me when I left Homeland. Mr Fury is concerned about my safety. I'm much better off here than outside the gates."
Then a girl stood up, dressed in a strict, black business suit. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a tight bun at the back of her head.
“I'm Dr Tricia Norbit." She was too young to be a doctor, but Ellie didn't talk about it out loud. "Nice to meet you." She didn't know what else to say.
