The news spread quickly. Ana was pregnant, they were engaged and everyone was ecstatic. Most were, at least.
Derek's grandmother invited the new family over to personally congratulate them as she desperately wanted to meet her grandson’s fated love as well as Eva whom she instantly referred to as her very own great grand daughter.
Ana was nervous to meet Derek’s grandmother after hearing of her heroic deeds. She knew she would have to live up to them in the near future and did not want to disappoint. None the less, Derek ensured she had nothing to worry about as his grandmother already loved her.
They arrived at her home about 15 minutes early. Derek let himself out of his SUV before opening the doors for his fiance and daughter.
