She simply wanted to pass her exams… but accidentally summoned a demon instead. Andrea who appears to be an ordinary college student, has a little secret. She comes from a family of witches and is still a beginner learning simple magic. One late night while cramming for her tests, she reaches for what she thinks is a memorization spell. What was meant to be a simple spell, turned into a summoning ritual that called forth a powerful ancient demon into her world. He is Kael, a white‑haired, golden‑eyed demon who is completely unbothered by human affairs. Bound by magic, he cannot leave until their link is broken. Now her quiet apartment has a new resident. One who sees no point in her studies, her worries, or her small joys. But as days go by, the cold demon starts to notice something he forgot long ago, the warmth of being alive.

THE WRONG RITUAL
It was almost midnight, and Andrea was still awake, resting her face on her study table surrounded by textbooks, and notebooks. “Ugh, why is this so hard?” she mumbbled rubbing her tired eyes behind her glasses. Her gaze fell upon the bookshelf in the corner of her room. It was filled with different books about Witchcraft and magic as well as the tools and herbs necessary for a spellcasting. She rose to her feet, gently tucked her hair behind her ears and slowly approached the shelf. "Hmm, why don't I put my magic to good use?" she thought. She figured out she would just cast a focusing or memorization spell to help with her upcoming prelim exam. But as she reached out for the grimoire, she accidentally knocked one of the books and it fell to the floor. Everything about this book seems strange, the cover, the characters engraved on it, its smell, and it is unusually heavy. She flipped the pages and found out that the spells inside it did not require long incantations and many tools. All she had to do is to draw a symbol. Her eyes lit up with excitement. As a witch who preferred simple magic spells, this one is perfect for her. She lit a white candle, grabbed her consecrated chalk and began writing the symbol. Halfway through, the sky outside darkened and heavy rain started pouring down. She was just one stroke away from finishing the symbol, when a loud clap of thunder startled her causing her hand to slip and draw another line unintentionally. Almost immediately, the air around her turned frigid, way colder than it should be.The lights flickered wildly, like a wild animal forcing its way out of a cage. She heard a loud growl as a thick, dark mist began to rise from the symbol, smelling like a rain. She could feel her heart pounding inside her chest. Her breathing grew heavy. “Wait… this doesn’t feel right.” Before she could stop speaking, the mist swirled upward into a column. A low, rumbling sound shook the floor, and the lights in the room dimmed. When the smoke finally cleared, a tall figure stood in the center. Her fear turned into amusement as she looked into the person's face. He looked like a young man in his early twenties and his presence.. it feels so strong yet calming and warm. He had messy white hair, small curved horns peeking through his locks, and glowing golden‑amber eyes. He wore a simple black shirt and dark jacket with his hands in his pockets. He barely glanzed at her face, his eyes are wandered around her room as if judging every angle. “Finally,” he said in a deep, calm voice. “Another summoning.” he sat on the symbol facing her and leaned towards her. It feels like a wolf was gazing into her soul. Andrea froze for a moment, her consecrated chalk slipped from her fingers. “W‑Who are you?” The man glanced at her, from her messy hair, her glasses, her oversized pajamas, and scattered school notes. “You summoned me with my seal” he answered, as if introducing himself was a waste of time. “And you don't know who am I?” “No! I didn’t mean to! I was just doing a study spell.” she told him. He just shrugged, completely unbothered. “Magic does not care about intentions. The ritual is complete, and the bond is formed.” He pushed himself up from the floor and walked over to sit on her bed, as if he owned the place. “Those who summon me beg for power, wealth, or revenge. I'm a demon of the Lower Realm.” “Demon? Wait, that's my bed.” Andrea protested, even though she was still shaking a little. “I’m still learning. And I didn’t ask for you! So can you just go back to where you came from?” He lay back on her bed with his eyes closed. "You're acting as if you're stuck with me but it's the other way around". He gave a small, unimpressed smirk. “If I could, I would have left the second I appeared. But the rules of summoning are strict. I cannot leave this realm, nor can I be sent away, until the bond between us is broken. And how or when that happens… neither of us knows yet.” He opened his eyes and gazed at the ceiling, “For now, I'm stuck here but don’t expect me to care about your little human problems.” "If you're going to stay here in my apartment you could atleast tell me your name or else I'll call you Fluffy." she teased, trying to ease the tension. "I'm Kael." he replied. "Nice! I'm Andrea." He turned his back to her and didn't say a word. Andrea stared at him in disbelief. Now she's half scared and half annoyed. Great. Just when she thought her night couldn’t get worse, she accidentally summoned the most bored, cold, and arrogant demon in history.
