Hello, my lovely readers. how are you all?
in case you are wondering why I decided to delete my books from here. well, I'll explain everything in detail. I know some of you are aware of the situation here at kb. I'm sorry to say this but the app is sinking. Not just now but for some months now kb has been dormant. Nothing from the editors.
As an author, I've been writing here for a long time. I never complained even when my friend warned me about this app. I stayed here to write for my lovely readers. Even when I got good offers from other platforms I declined them and stayed here.
But truth be told, kb does not care about authors. I tried to stay at least hang on for you guys but I can't anymore. As an author, we put too much effort into our books only to be treated like gabbage. As you can see some books are been deleted from the app without informing authors. As a professional app, I don't think they cared more about us or simply gaining from our hard work.
I noticed this last year, the reason why I decided to shift my books to some other apps. I got cursed and called selfish for abandoning this app and joining other apps but it's hard for an author.
Some decisions we make are not our fault. Kb has been home to me. it pained me when they pulled such a stunt. the editors quit this app, our books were uploaded on some other platforms without our consent which is equally stealing.
Tell me guys, can you advise me to stay on this app? I care more about my readers. I get sleepless nights if I haven't updated only to be cast away like this. Soon this app will fold. Just like I predicted. Some of my readers messaged me privately and I told them everything. If I didn't realize this sooner, I'm sure I'd be among those authors whose books have been deleted.
I'm truly grateful for supporting me through and through, you don't know how happy I am to know I was lucky enough to be followed by you. Thank you for giving my books a try, it truly means the world to me. despite everything I don't wish to leave you hanging. But every second spent here on kb is emotional torture. I feel bad to leave my books like this. I always finish my books but kb shattered all hopes.
I know other apps you pay to read, I have no choice. kb is the only free app I could find. I know some of you might suggest I go to w*****d or other free apps. But mind you I need security for my books. Most apps I write on are pay-to-read, but I have no choice..at least with these apps I can guarantee security for my books. Even if they had to shut down in the future. They would inform the author three months before.
