Chapter 12
ADRIA’S POV
I felt really scared to the bones and could hardly move another step forward. I was unsure of what creatures resided here, and what they could do to me if I wasn’t careful. It was like living my nightmares, and no one could convince me that it wasn’t real. Although, it was as real as anything, which I could obviously feel, see, and hear.
“Who…who is there?” I managed to speak up.
But no one answered. I licked my lips, then ran my hand through my hair, nervously. I moistened my lips even as I was shaking in fear but I didn’t want to show how much of a coward I was.
I felt fresh air caress my head and skin, and I couldn’t deny the fact that I loved it, but I hoped that the voice I had heard was just in my head. I continued on my path, watching everywhere with sha
