{Eva's POV}
After washing all the plates in the kitchen, I made my way back to my room and picked up my phone.
Taking a look at what was trending, I didn't get any messages or calls from Ethan. He didn't call me to confirm if he was the one who had sent the money.
My finger lingered on the call log to contact Ethan and ask him directly, but I shook my head against it.
Keeping my phone away on the shelf, I lay back on the bed. My mind was restless about the whole event since Friday night.
Soon enough, I fell asleep.

The following Monday morning, I woke up in my room at the sound of my 6 a.m. alarm.
Getting out of bed, I prepared to leave for the Jasper Tech company that I had searched for online.
Going into the washroom, I brushed my teeth and bathed quickly as the cold water
