Cece walked up to them, she didn't bother to greet she went straight to he point

"Guess what guys"

"What"

"I am joining the cheerleading squad, then I can show my dance moves" she moved with enthusiasm

"That's great" they all said

"Thats all you'd say?"

"Okay, George is joining the Catering team, Greg and I are joining the Sports team, I decided today"

"Wow, finally, its only you that's not a cheerleader in our room."

"Sophie too?"

"Yeah. Sophie and I will present together, also I have another goodnews, this is the best of it, I said yes to David's proposal" she smiled happily, Rose and George opens their mouth, and Greg felt like he is going to land in the hospital any moment, he excused himself, and George followed his brother

"What happened? Why don't they seem happy? You don't seem happy too"

"So you have a date on Saturday? Are you two a thing now?"

"Of course we are, I said yes to him, what is wrong with them?" Cece asked

"Nothing, just that we all received the biggest shock of our lives, my shift is almost over will you wait for me? I have to assemble some orders"

"No I can't, sorry, Sophie and I have to practice, we are presenting tomorrow today is the cheerleading orientation so we have to get ready you know"

"Yeah, I totally forgot about that, sorry, and bye"

She went back to work feeling bad for Greg, Cece went out feeling weird, their response to her good news was a strange one.

Rose told her boss of the order and the money paid, then she left the cafeteria after her shift, she went to her dormitory to change her clothes to a casual wear, she Wore a blue top and a jean skirt, this time around she is not wearing trousers or leggings, Sophie was surprised that she even had a skirt, they all left to the school field, they sat on the provided chairs and watched as their seniors advertise their team. The catering team performed their presentation and served them a sample of their meal, they were close to hundred that went for the big announcement. Most students wouldn't come since it's not compulsory to come. Charlie herself did not come, she probably felt too big to come. The Sports team was next and Williams was seen among them, they all wore jerseys and shorts with white sneakers, he was the one doing the talking, Rose heard some girls at her back

"I'ld have joined the sports team just to be next to him, but I can't because it's too tedious also sports and getting all sweaty is not my thing"

Rose was not surprised at all she knew he would be in one team and it would be muscular she was actually thinking he would be in the Cheerleading squad.

"So you will get to see him every day Rose" Sophie said. "Shut up" Rose said in disgust and Sophie laughed she is joining the team because she is a sports girl and cheerleading is not her thing neither is cooking her thing. The next is the cheerleading squad, they come out looking beautiful under the sun, Tracy was doing the talking while the other girls were doing the dancing, afterwards, Rose boss was seen sharing the cakes to everyone, when she got to her side

"Did she asked for more?"

"Yes she ordered fifty more foil paper cakes this time vanilla and she paid instantly, this are the kind of customers I like" the boss smiled, she gave Rose two foil paper cakes

"I brought one extra for you" Rose smiled "do you need my help? Tara is not here to help"

"Okay help me to serve those people there".

Her boss is in her early sixties, she likes Rose alot, she said Rose is her favourite staff. Rose stood up to the other side and took the big bag full of cake, she packed her jerry long hair into rabbit buns and began to serve she looked very beautiful under the sun, her brown eyes shone whenever she looked up, she walked to people serving them looking pretty unknowingly. Williams sighted her and could not to stop staring. When she smiled he smiled, it became so obvious that Nathan noticed, he taps Williams out of his day dream and incessant stare

"Dude, that girl, she is not even close to Tracy that you broke up with"

"If you want Tracy go for her. As for me, the girl is a black beauty, look at her flawless skin, and round lips apart from that she has a very confident attitude she is not cocky like Tracy"

"Dude that's not close to you at all"

"That!, why would you use that for a human being?"

"Sorry, but she is a waitress, your parents cannot find out that it's a scholarship student or a poor student you like"

Williams sighed angrily and averted his gaze from Rose. Williams is born in a high class and aristocratic family, his family is one of the highly respected families in Europe, his father being the first born of his father, got married to his mother who also hails from the higher class in her country, the foundation of their marriage was based on politics and to strengthen the both families business bond, his family despises low class. The pride exhibited in his family is unmatched, he is the only son, therefore he is expected to bring more grace and fortune by being succesful as a business man and the next CEO of the family business and also by getting married to a rich Lady or famous lady, his parents reminds him of this whenever they call, they tell him its not about love, his past relationship with Tracy was also part of business and politics, when they broke up, his father brought the mountain down on Williams for breaking Tracy's heart. They talked to him about Tracy again and the amount of fame and pride it will bring the both families, and how strong the both families will be if he can marry Tracy after his education, it will bring conflict and it will be considered ignominious if he ends up with a pauper or scholarship student, the thought of the chaos it will bring is what Nathan brought up and Williams is a man of peace.

The next day, Sophie and Cece wore the same cloth, short white skirt and a pink top with pink sneakers. It was their turn to be audited, the cheerleading auditions and practice took place at a particular angle on the field, the sports team is not far from them. Greg and Rose were putting on Jersey, and shorts, she packed her hair up and used a blue band to wrap her head. They can see all that the cheerleaders were doing,

"How do you feel?" Rose asked

"Love is painful" he said still looking at the cheerleaders, Sophie and Cece were dancing, "they dance pretty well" Greg said

"Please be cheerful back, this version of you wants to make me cry" Rose said and pouted

"It's okay" he said and hugged her head

" Why must you always remind me of my height?" They both laughed

The sport team walked in with a volleyball ball,

"Are those our new members? Only two couples?" Nathan said, Williams saw Rose and Greg, he felt jealous and angry, he walked up to them

"hey, what are you both doing? We can't have couples in our team, so one of you have to opt out"

"We are not a couple, we are friends" Rose said

"More of siblings, she is my sister " he said and Rose decided to play along.

" Excuse me for a moment, she stood up and ran to the boys at their front, they all ran back together

"We are ten that wants to join the team" Greg said

"You are the only female this time around the rest has left us to join cheerleading team, hope you won't do the same? "Williams said

"Nope, I won't" she said

"Good now let me introduce myself, I am the captain of the sports team, i am Williams Hart by name, he is Nathan, he is David, he is Raymond, he is Tobi... Please introduce yourself Freshers"

"Good morning, I am Greg Ogbodo" "Rose Babalola"

"You are beautiful Rose" one of the seniors said, "thank you " she said casually. Every one introduced themselves and the game began.

Williams put Rose in his team, he doesn't want any one of the boys near her, as they rotate, she is always beside him. Rose enjoyed the game, she played with ease and swiftly, when it got to her turn to serve, she served well and swiftly, making Williams team winners, they all were happy, they decided to play another game, but the juniors alone then senior went out.

Tracy didn't like to see someone who is better than her, Cece and Sophie really danced better than her, they show new moves although it was Rose that taught them. They were voted instantly by the judge, but Tracy found a way to rubbish their efforts afterwards. One of Tracy's girls was teaching the voted Freshers a new dance they were working on, but Tracy was distracted, she kept on staring at Williams, she was not comfortable seeing Rose in that team, anytime Williams stayed beside Rose, it made Tracy red with anger.

Rose once saw Charlie with the big girls, she excitedly greeted Charlie and the big girls laughed, "do you know this low life?"

"She is probably part of the people that wants to be my friend" Rose heard Charlie's answer and felt embarrassed, she left them alone angry. Since then, she never greeted Charlie with the big girls and when she was alone or in the room, she looked at Charlie as an invisible person.
