"You are a monster! I hate you! I f*****g hate you!" She shouted with every ounce of hate in her for the man in front of her. She thought he was trying to save her. Guess she was wrong all along.

"Does it look like I care princess? Keep this anger to yourself, I can crush you with my little finger. He warned looking deadly in her eyes. I can be your worst nightmare baby, don’t force me to make your life equivalent to hell." He challenged walking out of the room.

All that was left with Mia, was her silent prayers that nobody seemed to be answering.

Then I Saw You
"From the first time I saw you, I've belonged to you completely. I still do. If you want me. "                                                                                        -Jace                                                                                 "Keep the shots coming, please" Mia spoke in a slurring voice. It all came down to this point. The point where everything just hurts. "Mam, I think you probably had enough. Do you want me to call someone for you?" The bartender objected trying his best not to show how irritating he was getting by her. "Did I ask for your God damn permission? I said keep the shots coming!" Mia shouted banging her hand forcefully on the table. The night has already done enough damage to her, she didn’t want anyone telling her what to do right now. All she cared about was to get drunk and to forget everything. She was supposed to be with his brother and his wife and share their happiness, but life played out tough. She was happy for them but somehow jealous and tired of herself. A lone tear escaped her eyes as all the bitter words and talk travelled to her mind. Look at you! Did you really think I wanted you because of you? I just wanted your power! And I thought maybe I could even stay with you longer but what are you even huh? You actually thought I would wait for you until you were ready to have s*x! Oh god, you are just ugly, no one can ever want you! "Mam? Mam?" She was brought back from her thoughts by the bartending calling on her. We are closing the bar now, mam, you have to leave." She didn’t even want to argue anymore she kept the hundred dollar note on the table and climbed down the stall walking out of the bar. What was she even supposed to do now? She didn’t want to go back to her apartment, where all she was reminded was of memories. But she was sure she couldn’t go back to her brother's as well. "Please! I beg you! All I ask is for is a little bit of time, I will pay for everything, please!" She heard the voices coming down from the street. Curiosity builds up in her as she took off her heels and carried them in her hand, not to make any noise. "You have had time before, but we need the money now." The voice was raspy yet husky. Mia hid behind the wall not sure what she was doing, she could actually get killed for this stunt. "Please I am begging you" the man cried bending down on his knees with his hand holder together begging for another chance. Mia could only see the back of the man. The voice came to be intimidating and intriguing to her. She couldn’t move. She observed two men standing in the dark, while one laid on the floor with his hands out asking for forgiveness. "Enough!" The man boomed again, his voice so intimidating that shivers ran all down her body. "Eli, take him to the boss, he will decide what to do. Meanwhile, I take care of our guest here". The man spoke as Mia heard the other man named Eli agreeing to him. What did he mean by a guest? Was someone else also here. "Oh s**t," Mia snickered as she realised what was happening. He saw her. She ran to the other side of the road as fast she could. The thought of what would happen to her if he got hold of her terrified her. "God! Please help me this time, I won’t ever interfere in someone else business please-" she couldn’t complete her prayer as her body was pushed roughly against the wall. She was screwed. She was ready to scream when one rough hand covered her mouth while the other folded her arms behind her back keeping her pinned to the wall. "How much did you listen?" The man demanded, with his voice laying shivers on her body. Mia wanted to be sarcastic and tell him how she was going to answer with his hand on her mouth but then again he had to remove his hand for her to say anything. She wiggled against his grip, but it was no use, he held her tightly against the wall. His face was still in the dark, all she could see was the tattoos covering his neck and hands. His arms looked built and strong and the black tee-shirt didn’t do justice to the muscles underneath them. Was she seriously thinking about these muscles when she could be killed any minute now? The thought rung her head as she started to wiggle again. "Quit with the protesting sweetheart, the more you protest the more it will hurt." The mysterious man spoke again this time, moving a bit forward so that now his face was in the light. Mia gasped at the sight, he was gorgeous. She could see his tattoos clearly now, covering every bit of his neck and arms. His eyes were dark with anger. He looked dangerous, with his eyes piercing holes on her body. "I am going to remove my hand, but if you dared to scream I wouldn’t hesitate to s*******r off your head. Understood?" He demanded stating clearly how serious he was. His eyes let out a warning, one to get killed or agree. As an instant, Mia nodded her head not wanting to be killed. The man slowly removed his fingers from her mouth, as if waiting to cover her face again if she tried to scream. Mia didn’t even try, she knew how empty the neighbourhood was, screaming would only get her killed. "Good girl, now how much did you listen, angel?" He asked again bending down to her level looking at her with the same killer and dangerous look in his eyes, daring her to lie to him. "I promise I didn’t h.hear anything. I was just curious. Let me go, please." She tried to release herself from his hands as if that was easy. "How do I believe you, angel?" The man asked with the smirk terminating on his perfect pink lips, his body moved closer to her than before. He trailed one finger on her arm with his free hand, starting from her hand and moving silently up to her shoulder. Then suddenly his hand tightly gripped her hair right, not to the way it hurt but she could feel her hair being pulled. "I could kill you right now angel, but that’s not my decision to make. You are coming with me." He announced as he put out a knife to her neck daring her to speak anything. "Don’t make any noise, If you do I can’t tell if you could make it out alive." He warned pulling her along the ally with her neck against the hold of the knife. He got her in the car, she didn’t even know was here until now, with the knife still against her neck. What has she gotten herself into?
