Meeting Jin

Xavier followed Mercia and entered the cabin of Dr Violet Qin.

The first thing that Xavier observed was a weird type of plants placed there, then as he further walked inside, he saw a bunch of dead bodies laying on the ground.

These dead bodies were coated in green coloured liquid, on some of the bodies the liquid was fresh, on some the liquid was dried.

Then Xavier walked towards a table, the table had a dead body placed on it, there was a man, Xavier knew this man, he was none other than the other helper of Dr Violet Hira.

Hira was carrying two knives in his hand and dissecting the body which was in front of him, he was very careful about the process, and his complete focus was on it, he did not even realize that currently there were two people next to him and they were staring at him.

Xavier and Mercia did not disturb Hira, they waited until Hira took the heart out of the dead body and threw it in a container that consists of hearts.

As soon as Hira did with the work, after putting knives on the table, he swiped the sweat from his forehead and noticed the duo.

" Mercia, what is wrong what are you doing here? " Hira asked, then Hira looked at the man beside her and pointed: "why did you bring him to the forbidden area? "

" Don't worry, he is here to pay the debt, he will be taking your place here, we need you outside" Mercia explained.

" Mercia, are you kidding? You want some inexperienced guy to take my place, look at his face, does he look like someone who could do the work? " Hira was enraged as he voiced out, he loved the work here, he did not want to give to someone else,

Even after seeing the angry man, Mercia remained cool and answered him in simple words: " it's the wish of Miss Violet".

When Hira heard that, Xavier observed a drastic change in the expression of Hira, who was angry moments ago was smiling now.

" come..brother, what is your name?, don't worry if you don't know how to work, I will teach you " Hira hugged Xavier.

Xavier's eyes were popping out, he had never seen such a person whose actions took a 180-degree turn from hearing a single sentence.

Nevertheless, he had to go along, after all, he had to learn how to work.

" I will be leaving, Hira will explain to you the rest of the things," Mercia said.

" yeah, rest assured I will teach him well," Hira said while looking at the silhouette who was leaving the place.

After Mercia left the scenario, Hira turned towards Xavier and asked: " Brother, ask me any question, I will answer them ".

Xavier was not fooled to stay silent, since the time he entered into the cabin, he had many questions in his mind, one of such a question was " where did these dead bodies come from? ", he decided to take it.

When Hira heard Xavier's questions, he placed his hand onto the neck of Xavier and grabbed Xavier's ear close to his mouth, and said: "it's a secret, I don't know either, but I know that these bodies are of trainees, they just appear here without any notice".

When Xavier heard Hira, he also lost in thoughts, he had doubts about them belonging to trainees, but it was further confirmed after Hira said it.

" Haha..Don't you think GuruSchool is weird, this building completely defies human logic? " Hira laughed.

" Indeed it's weird" Xavier agreed, Xavier often thought about the weirdness of this building, using his existing knowledge, he tried to think of a way for its explanation, but he could not come up with anything else at all.

" Brother, let's don't worry about it, let me teach you, your work first" Hira grabbed the knives from the table and handed it to Xavier, then he walked towards one of the dead bodies, after lifting it, he brought it to the table and placed on it.

" look brother, listen carefully, let me explain things, the dead body is a very delicate thing, what you have to do is to remove the heart without any damage" Hira instructed.

The instructions from Hira continued, Xavier carefully followed every one of them, he did not miss a single thing.

After about 45 minutes, Xavier successfully removed the heart from the dead body and threw it in the container.

" Good brother, you learned it no time" Hira praised, he was astonished by how talented Xavier was, he learnt the entire process in the first attempt itself, as far as Hira's experience concerned, not many people were able to do it, even he took three tries before successfully during his first attempt.

" Brother, what do we do with these hearts? " Xavier asked after wiping the sweat away.

" Oh! These, these are raw materials to make potions " Hira replied.

" You mean the potion that I used before," Xavier asked.

" Yeah, not only the potion you used, human hearts are the basic raw material for all kinds of potions" Hira explained.

" Oh.." Xavier nodded in understanding.

" Brother we have got a lot of bodies, I will help you today from tomorrow onwards, you are yourself," Hira said, then they continued to work on collecting hearts.

Time passed, finally, they stopped after the container of hearts was full.

" Brother, what are you planning now? would you like to go back to your home?" Hira asked.

Xavier nodded.

" Brother, let's go to my home, I have bought a special wine from one of my relatives, I would like to share with you" Hira invited.

When Xavier heard the invitation, he thought for a while before accepting it.

" Good, brother let's go".

Xavier followed Hira and left the GuruSchool, as they were walking through the streets, Xavier felt weird gazes on him, whoever saw Xavier was whispering something.

" Brother, what is wrong with these guys? Why are they acting weird after seeing you?" Hira who noticed things asked Xavier.

" I don't know"

Xavier did not know what's wrong with them, he did not bother to do so.

Soon, their steps halted in front of a house,

" knock! knock! "

Hira knocked on the door.

" Who is there? " the voice of a child came from within the house.

" Jin, it's me, open the door " Hira called out.

As soon as Hira said, " Father" the door was pushed open, and a boy around the age of five came running outside and hugged the legs of Hira.

" Father, mother said she won't be coming home today, I miss her, father why don't you ask her to come back? ".

The little guy rubbed his nose on Hira's leg.

" Don't worry Jin, Mother had some work today so she won't be coming, I have brought someone else today, come and greet uncle Xavier here".

When the curious kid heard his father's words, he glanced at Xavier and said: " Hello, uncle ".

" Hey, what's your name" Xavier ceased up to him and asked.

" Jin, my name is Jin, I am five years old" the kid is replied enthusiastically, he seemed to have inherited his father's personality.

" Brother, let's go inside first " Hira recommended.

" Yeah uncle, come inside " Jin grabbed the hand of Xavier and pulled it.

The trio soon entered the home, before closing it.

The house was no different from that of Xavier's, it has only one room, there were no beds or excessive furniture.

But all necessary furniture was present there, it included boxes to store clothes, bedsheets, a personal cooking stove.

Soon after, Hira walked towards one of the boxes and pulled out a carpet from it, then he spread it on the ground.

Walking towards another basket, he took a bottle of whiskey from under the dress, sitting on the ground, he placed the bottle next to him.

Then while patting, the ground next to him he called out: Brother..come here, let's have a drink"

" Father, why are you breaking the promise? yesterday you promised mother to not have a drink in this lifetime, why are you doing this? ".

Jin rushed towards Hira and grabbed the bottle.

" Jin, give it back " Hira yelled as he was enraged by the action of his child.

" Uncle, save me " Jin ran and hidden behind Xavier.

" Brother..sorry you witnessed such a scene," Hira said as he switched his gaze between Xavier and Jin.

" it's not a big deal, let me talk to him, then Xavier turned around, he sat on his legs and while looking at Jin, Xavier said: " Jin, you are right your daddy is wrong, but you are wrong too, you should not behave in such a way in front of guests".

" Sorry uncle, " Jin said while keeping his head.

" Jin, look at me, tell me what to do you like most? "

Hearing Xavier, Jin slowly lifted his head, with the eyes filled with the innocence of children, he glanced at Xavier.

" I like my father and mother most," Jin said out in a loud voice.

" yeah Jin, you are a good boy, Just how you like your father and mother, in the same way, your father likes whiskey, it's his happiness, you are making your father sad by taking it away ".

" Jin, do you like to see your father sad? ".

When Jin heard Xavier, he took a glance at his father, he saw a sad face.

" But uncle, mummy said father should not drink.

she asked me to make sure father does not go back on the promise.." Jin said.

" don't worry Jin, as long as I am here your father would not drink more than required, I will monitor him" Xavier assured.

" Jin, trust me, I am like a big brother to you, I will make sure he would not drink a lot ".

" Jin, now please handover the bottle "

Xavier persuaded.

Hearing Xavier, Jin hesitated first, then while moving the bottle forward in slow motion he handed it to Xavier.

" uncle, I am trusting you"

Jin said.

" Yeah, you can trust me, and I am not your uncle, call me big brother" Xavier instructed.

" yes, big brother" Jin replied enthusiastically.

" Good boy, I won't break the promise " After getting the bottle, Xavier patted the head Jin.
