Chapter 20: First movement

I sighed as I looked through the store and found nothing. I was really getting pissed off until I found it, the one. The perfect gag gift, I looked at the hideous cup with adoration. It said "Worlds best bullshitter." I laughed and took it to the register and payed for it. After that I went to the hair place and went in after making an appointment earlier that day. 

"I have an appointment for 1:30." I said to the lady at the desk, she nodded and asked me to confirm my name.

"Ashlyn Blake." I said. She smiled and I left my shopping bags and jacket on the waiting seats. She sat me down in the back and washed my hair before moving me over to the chair were my ass long hair would now go to my lower shoulder blades. I watched as the woman put my hair into a pony tail at my mid back and cut it off above the hair tie. Half and hour later my hair was cut, dried and straightened. I paid then walked out of the store where my dad and Brody were waiting for me. 

"Your hair looks great Luna." Brody said smiling at me.

"My head feels so light, I feel like i'm gonna give myself whiplash when I shake or nod my head." Both Brody and my dad chuckled at me before we went to the last store of the day. I walked in the fancy shop and went right for the red dresses, immediately a crimson dress caught my attention. I pulled it from the rack and went to the fitting room and pulled it over my body, the flowing chiffon skirt reached the floor in a circle around my feet. The lace top was snug around my growing belly, the sleeves fit my arms perfectly and covered my mark for the Annual Alpha Christmas Ball that the king and queen were hosting. I would have to have alterations made so the dress would fit around my bump in a few weeks when the ball was to be held. I purred at the dress and walked out of the fitting room to show the guys, my dad and Brody both looked at me with shock and I smiled at them. 

"You look stunning princess." My dad said.

"You look better in this dress than you did in the one for the Luna ceremony." Brody complimented. I smiled as I saw the young woman with the dark eyes and curly hair bounce over.

"Okay this is so not fair!" She pouted. "So far I have seen you in two perfect dresses and I can't even find a pair of jeans that fit right!" I giggled at her while Brody and my dad held in their laughter.

"Thank you Adrianna." I said smiling at her. "But honey, if both of these guys weren't in serious relationships, you could have them crawling on their knees. You are gorgeous!" 

"Wow...Okay.. I need to call my boss and see if it is illegal to kidnap a customer." She said as a joke. I laughed which made her giggle too. 

"I think Cillian would probably start a world war to find me though." I said still laughing.

"Is he the one who was in here last time, who said he was gay?" She asked putting her hand on her hip.

"That would be him." I said with a smirk.

"I guess you didn't need the changing room did you?" She said pointing to my belly.

"Nope, he just likes to experiment." I said causing her to giggle as Brody and my dad got red faced.

"I didn't need to know that princess." My dad said.

"I didn't either." Brody said. Adrianna and I laughed again and I walked back into the changing room. I put on my stretchy pants and my royal blue t-shirt and my incredible moccasins and walked back out with the dress.

"Oh my Lanta!" Adrianna screeched, "You look good in everything!" I laughed again and I heard a very familiar chuckle as Cillian and Dimitri walked in. I watched as Dimitri's eyes fell on Adrianna and went black, I nearly squealed in delight. After confronting Kaylee about the pregnancy she rejected him and ran off. He has been heartbroken and mopey ever since. Cillian looked back at Dimitri and smiled too. 

"So Adrianna, you remember Cillian, and that is our amazing friend Dimitri." I said pointing to him. 

"Ohhh Hello sexy!" She said looking at Dimitri. She covered her mouth with her hands as her cheeks got red. 

"I would say that is you Adrianna." Dimitri said lowly. We all smelled her getting aroused by him and she looked at me and mouthed "Oh my Lanta!" I giggled as Cillian kissed my head and played with my shorter hair.

"It looks good babe." He said. I smiled up at him and kissed him quickly before taking Adrianna's arm and heading to the desk to pay, Dimitri followed us closely. 

(Ashlyn: Dimitri, your gonna have to take it slow, she's human.) I linked him.

(Dimitri: I just want her.) He whimpered through the line.

(Ashlyn: Ask her out to dinner for tomorrow night. Give her your cell phone number and we can brainstorm places to dine on the way home.)

(Dimitri: Thank you Luna.) I closed the link and winked as Adrianna scanned the dress, I put my card in the reader and payed for the dress, and urged Dimitri to ask with a nod.

"Adrianna, perhaps you would like to join me for dinner tomorrow?" He asked with a shy smile. She lit up and nodded yes. He was about to leave when I yanked on his shoulder, and gave him a blank face with a raised eyebrow. When he gave me a confused look I rolled my eyes and let out a very dramatic sigh. I found a pen and sticky note and handed them to him.

"Phone number." I whispered. He ooohed and scribbled down his digits on barely legible chicken scratch. I rolled my eyes and hoped she could decipher the code. I winked at Adrianna as I left with all the boys, interlocking my fingers in Cillian's. We made our way out to the car, Brody and my dad had grabbed my bags and refused to let me carry them. I took the dress and snarled when Cillian tried to take it, he put his free hand up in surrender and smiled at me as I smiled and carried my bag happily. Cillian put his large jacket around my shoulders when we reached the main doors and we hastily made our way to the SUV, getting snow caught in our hair. I had Brody drive and dad sit in the passenger seat, while Cillian, Dimitri and I sat in the back. 

"You can take her to Lorelei's." I said. Lorelei's was a small italian joint that had amazing pasta and a nice homey atmosphere, perfect for a first date.

"What should I wear?" He asked.

"A nice pair of jeans and a button up would be perfect." Cillian said. He and I had gone there on our first official date about a month ago. 

"Thanks guys, you are the best." He said with a happy sigh as he looked out the window.

"I need to see Maya tomorrow, the dress needs a few alterations before the ball." I said to Cillian who nodded then stared out the window, I could tell he was lost in thought. I sighed as I placed a hand on my still belly. I focused my hearing and listened to my pups little heartbeat and smiled, I felt Cillian's thumb rub my hand and I looked up at him, reopening my ears. 

"You looked so happy." He said smiling.

"I was listening to our pups heartbeat." I said placing a hand on my stomach. He placed his free hand next to mine and I felt a small movement underneath my palm. I looked at Cillian who was smiling, I took his hand and moved it to where mine was, I watched his face as our pup moved again. His eyes filled with tears and he leaned down and kissed my bump. I watched in wonder as the man I was so deeply in love with caressed my stomach with our pup inside. I felt the car roll across the pack border and sighed, running my hand through Cillian's hair as he whispered to our active little pup. The car stopped in front of our house so Cillian and I unloaded everything and carried it all inside. Once we were done unpacking all of my pregnancy clothes I put the cutest baby outfit in the nursery Cillian had gotten set up. I placed the dinosaur onsie on the baby's dresser and knew that was the first thing he or she was wearing. 

I walked back to our room, which was across the hall way and took off my shirt and felt the freedom of the US of A when I flung my bra across the room.

"Freedom!" I shouted. I heard Cillian laugh from the bathroom and I suddenly got the urge to pee, I walked in and walked right back out and went to the spare bathroom because Cillian was no longer full of s**t. I emptied my bladder and sighed then went back to the bedroom and layed on the bed while Cillian sprayed the bathroom with Fabreeze and pulled off everything, but his boxers. He crawled into bed, between my legs and rested his head on my thigh while he spoke to our pup.

"Hey there little one, it's me your daddy." I quietly started filming with my phone. "You don't know me yet, but I already love you so so much. I can't wait until you finally come into our world and I can hold you in my arms. I can tell your gonna be a troublemaker by the way you are already kicking mommy." He kissed my belly and ran his hands all over my bump. "I don't know if you are Hunter or Hailey, but I will love you either way little one." I stopped recording as the name Hailey rang through my head.

{Crescent would you be okay if we don't use Hailey for our first daughter's name?}

I would like our first girl to be named Xena.

(I approve with all my being and wished I had thought of it first.)

"Cillian?" I said aloud making him look up at me. "Crescent and I thought of a better name for our first daughter."

"Interesting....Tell me." He said with a big smile looking back down at my belly.

"Xena." His head shot up and he looked at me with so much love and pain it hurt. He crawled up over me and looked down at me with a question in his eyes. "I think our first girl should be named after the woman who gave me you." I said, tears slid from his eyes and he kissed me slowly and sweetly.

"My mom would be so elated, that my mate is as perfect for me as you are." He said against my lips. 

"I wish she could tell you how proud of you she is Cill." I took my hand and wiped away a tear that fell down his cheek. He pressed his lips into mine a bit harder, before rolling to the side and sliding under that blankets and pulling me up next to him. 

"I don't think I tell you enough just how much I adore you, Ashlyn. You are the one person in this galaxy who can make me feel two opposite emotions at once. Like right now, I am ecstatic you want to name our first girl after my mom, and i am so sad that she can't be here to witness the most amazing mate that I have. If I could ever have one wish, it would be for her to come back and bless us. I know she has in her own way, but I just want to hear her one more time baby."

"If I had one wish in this world, it would be for you to have yours. I have everything I could ever need right here in this bed, except for food and water, so I  want you to get the one thing you want most, to see your mom one more time before we eventually join her in the moon-goddesses heaven." 

Cillian kissed my forehead and I snuggled closer to him, he turned off his light and very quickly we fell asleep.
