Behind the mask

"You all are fired. Get your things and get out of my house". His deep ice cold voice echoed through the house. Everyone present shivered in fear as his eyes which were the only visible part of his body now narrowed, instilling fear into their bodies, they didn't want to lose their jobs but they didn't dare say a word. Before he said any other thing, the girls ran to the maids quarters to get their things, they didn't want to get on the boss's wrong side. "Noel, what is wrong with you. Why do you constantly fire all the maids I bring into the house?, this one's are not even up to a week yet". Noel turned around to the middle aged woman who stood behind him. She looked in her mid 40's, but she already had strands of gray hair popping out of her head. "Madame I Julie, I'm sorry I don't think I owe anybody an explanation for whatever I do around here". He turned around to leave but he paused again and continued speaking. "During work hours, I suggest you don't call me Noel, its inappropriate. Let's stick to the old maids they are aware of the rules". After speaking he headed for the stairs, his gentle steps were heard as he disappeared from madame Julie's sight. Madame Julie has been working effortlessly to bring in young maids that could replace the old ones in the home because she was scared they might not be able to work to their full capacity anymore. And above all Noel didn't have any personal maids that could take care of his needs as soon as possible, all in the house had grown old. Any maid madam Julie brought to house was often discarded by Noel and the reason only him knew. Noel was only six years old when he lost his parents to a gaseous motor accident. The police were trying to investigate the matter but they couldn't tell who had tampered with the breaks of the car Mr and Mrs Mancuso had boarded. Although the police had put the investigation on hold Noel did not. As a young boy Noel was a smart kid he never let anyone ride on him for any reason. After his parents death Noel shut all the doors and windows of his house he didn't want to see anyone and he didn't want anyone to see him. He hid behind his black knitted face masks and buried himself in his past, turning him into what people knew him as, a slow poison. In whatever Noel did in all his life he was always very calm and collective. The only people he related with was madame Julie his mom's personal maid and her daughter, Mr George his father's best friend and personal assistant who thought him all he needed to know about his parents business and of recent his own PA David. In the business world Noel was not one to be completed with. Though his identity wasn't known to anyone, not even those that lives with him in his home. He was the CEO of the Man enterprises. At the age of 18 he had already started winning awards, he won the business man award almost every year and had his representative attend the ceremony. He was not one to be messed with at all. He was the wealthiest and #1 business man in the world, he was capable of rendering anyone who messed with him jobless. He could handle any situation that threatened his business or the life of those who worked with him. He was willing to do anything to protect his workers as long as they stayed within their limits. As an heir Noel had alot of pressure, he had to handle his father's advertisement companies, his mother's hospitals and labs and his own real estate business. Noel had a lot of enemies because of his fame and wealth and amongst the enemies where most of his relatives who abandoned him after his parents death, they didn't even know about his present health condition, all. they wanted was to tear him down and take all of his wealth.
