Rosaline's fate.

Today is a sad day it’s the one-year anniversary of my eldest brother Asher's death, he died in a rouge attack along with his mate June and unborn pup when they were visiting his mate’s family in another pack. I had to take the day off work and asked Jade my best friend and co-worker to take my shift. She happily agreed, she knows how much their deaths affected me. For the past year I have upped my training, what use to be 3 days a week because I was young, I forced myself to train 6 days a week my farther wouldn’t allow me to train 7 days he said it was too much so instead I choose to practice other self-defense like weapons. I am now the top warrior under 21 in our pack and the includes my warrior brother Cameron, he is in second place although I think he is just too worried about fighting me to try for the first place but that doesn’t stop me from kicking his ass. My phone starts to ring, I look and see is Jade. ‘Hey… How are you?’ She asked slowly. ‘I haven’t really stopped crying all day, I don’t think I’ll be going to school tomorrow either.’ I sobbed ‘Oh Rose, I’m going to skip tomorrow and just be with you.’ ‘Jane, you can’t you know how strict your parents are, they won’t allow it.’ I was walking towards Asher and June’s graves. ‘I’ll just say I’m going but talk to the Alpha he will understand he was super close to Asher.’ ‘Okay, I’ve got to go but I’ll see you tomorrow morning.’ I say and end the call as I’m approaching their gravestones. I start to fall to my knees as a sob leaves me, but I never felt the ground. I feel strong arms around me, I turn and see Ben holding me up. Ben looks at me sadly and speaks. ‘Hey, I haven’t seen you cry since the funeral.’ I just let the tears flow I can’t stop them, I’ve held them in all year refusing to be weak. I look around and see it’s not just Ben here with me, our brother Cam and our parents here too but what shocks me is the beta is here he is Ben’s mate they found each other a week ago but he is still in the closet, afraid to hurt his grandparents who raised him. Cam comes over and picks me up like a doll. I’m only 12 but I don’t look it, I’ve always been tall, but this past year changed me physically too. With the curviest ass in the pack, my long black hair and double D boobs and hourglass waist. To say I look mature is an understatement. But he is also a giant and holds me like a child, I just let Cam hold me because it’s been too long since either of us has showed much emotions. He didn’t put me down till we were all back home, he placed me down my bed and kiss my hair and left the room, I fell asleep quickly. I wake from my dreamless sleep by my mother gently calling me. ‘Rose, wake up sweetheart.’ With my eyes still closed I say. ‘Why, I’m not goth to school today’ She breaths out a sigh. ‘I need you up sweets, now.’ She seems a little strange today mush because of Asher, I think. ‘Is it because Jade is here? Just let come in I’m sure she will enjoy the extra sleep.’ ‘No, she’s not here but I need you up.’ I open my eyes for the first time today and look at her in confusion, Jade should be here by now. As I go to tell her that I see fresh tears in her eyes. ‘Mum, what’s wrong I’ll get up don’t worry’ She shakes her head and grabs my hand as I sit up. ‘Come sweetheart, I need you to follow me.’ I don’t question her I just get up. ‘OK I’ll need just a minute to shower.’ She takes my hand again and walks to the door about to go down the stairs. ‘We don’t have time, she needs you.’ Looking up to my mother I don’t try to protest I just follow her to the pack house still is yesterday’s cloths. When we get to the pack house she walks right up the third floor and to the Alphas office. This starts to worry me as she quickens her steps as we get close as we near the door I hear sobs’ I freeze I know those sobs. Jade. I let go of my mother’s hand and run into the room not even knocking. I look around and see Cameron and beta Joey are in the left side of the room, Joey is mind linking someone. At the alphas desk sits Jade’s parents and, on the couch, sit alpha Jake and my dad with Jade in the middle crying, both alpha and my dad try to comfit Jade. I run and drop to my knees in front of Jade and hold her face in my hands, searching her face for what’s wrong. She has a busted lip and a black eye her clothes are torn and there is some blood on her. She looks into my eyes as she cries and speaks. ‘Rose? It was... He stole my… It shouldn’t of…’ She could finish the sentence as the sobs became too much to speak, I engulf her in my arms. I look to my farther for answers, but he just looks to my mother get up and hugs her as she is silently crying, I look up to the alpha as he sighs. ‘She was attacked on her way home last night after work, the attack was of a s****l nature.’ I gasp and tears come to my eyes. ‘I’m so sorry Jade, I’m so, so sorry.’ That’s all I said before Jade’s father stood up and spook. ‘It happened now let’s move on, she shouldn’t have been working there anyway. Walking home so late and on a weekday what did you expect to happen this is the real-world child now grow up.’ He stormed out of the room and his wife followed. The alpha growled at his words be he had already left, I look to my parents with a look of confusion. ‘Mum, dad can Jade stay with us for a bit?’ My parents looked at me with a look of pride. ‘Yes sweetheart, you know Jade dear, you are always welcome. You feel like a second daughter to us.’ I look to Jade and she just nodes her head. ‘Why don’t you go and get cleaned up.’ The alpha says with a gentil look on his face as he rubs circles on Jades back. I stand up bringing Jade with me, she must be weak as I was practically dragging her up. Cam speaks up and askes. ‘Jade, do you want to be caried to the house?’ Jade hesitates and look between my brothers than looks at the ground shaking her head no. But I can feel how weak and sore she is, she just doesn’t want to be touched by males other than alpha. I then place her back down on the couch, she looks at me confused as I make a quarter turn, she grabs my hand with panic in her eyes. ‘Don’t leave me.’ She whispers. Bend down and touch my forehead with hers looking into her eyes and speak. ‘I’m not, you’ll see.’ I turn my back to her and see the look of confusion on Cam’s face but as I squat down recognition settles on his face as he smiles at me. I grab Jades legs and pull her to my back, and she must understand now that I’m going to carry her on my back as her arms move around my neck. ‘That is kind of you Rose.’ Alpha mutters as I stand up with Jade clinging to me. ‘I’ve got you.’ I whisper to her, then node to the alpha as my mother leads the way to our house with Ben following behind. Dad and Cam stayed with the alpha to talk about the attack further, I’m sure. The whole way we walked was in silence. Once home, I carried Jade all the way up the stairs and into my bathroom for a bath. I sat her on the bench and started the water and went to get some clean towels. I came back and she has a blank look on her face as if she is not really here. I striped myself off standing naked in front of her as I start to undress her too. I place her down in the large bath and get in with her, I start with her hair then wash my own. I lather the soap up and start to wash her being careful of her injuries, I even give her a little massage to relax her further. I quickly wash myself than hop out and wrap a towel around my hair and one around my body. I grab another towel and help her to stand and get out the bath, wrapping it around her I start to dry her hair. The silence is killing me, but I know she’ll speak when she is ready. Once her hair and body are dry, I lead her into my closet and grab out and night shirt and put it over her head, it is a loose fit since I am bit bigger in certain places, I don’t worry about underwear as I’m sure it would only hurt her already sore p***y. I pull her to the bed and pull back the covers, she climbs in and shivers as I place the blankets over her. I rush the window and close it all the way as the autumn air was cold and shut the blackout blinds, so it is now dark as night in my room. I rush to get dressed and to dry my hair constantly look over to Jade. I slowly crawl into bed trying not to wake her, but she moves closer to me and cuddles my side and cries onto my chest. I move my left arm to hold her arm that is around my waist and my right arm I move in under her and stroke her hair and back to sooth her. She calms and eventually falls to sleep, that’s when I lit myself drift into my own sleep.
