Chapter 19; Vamp-napped

Lilly

“Come on Lilly, wake up, please don’t be dead” I chuckled as I heard Elena’s panicked voiced. “Sorry to be the bearer of bad news darling, but I’m already dead” I laughed as I opened my eyes slowly sitting up looking around my surroundings to see if there was anything that told me where I was or who took us, but all I could see was that we were at an abandoned house.

How nice of them? they vamp-napped me and brought me to this dump hole, talk about manners.

I went to move but I realize that my hand and feet were tied up with vervain ropes, so whoever took us either knows about vampires or they’re vampires themselves, either one I wasn’t bothered, but when I get out of this I wasn’t afraid to kill them.

“Fancy undoing these?” I asked Elena waving my hands in the air but before she could even move to take the ropes off a woman walked in. “Don’t even think about it” Hearing another voice in the room Elena stood up leaving the ropes to look at her. “Who are you? What do you want with us?” Elena cried as a man came walking in making his way over to me, running his thumb over my cheek.

I’ve always hated men touching me, for as long as I can remember from my vampire life, I’ve never let a man touch me, it just didn’t feel right. If my hands weren’t tied together I would have ripped his heart out like I do to any man that touches me. “I suggest you take your hands off me” I gritted out.

“Feisty, I can see why you were on the list” My eyebrows shot up to my hairline. “List? Stop talking in riddles made and just tell me what you want because so help me go, I.will.kill.you!” Instead of saying anything he laughed as he walked over to his female friend.

I looked over them both noticing they both seemed familiar but I don’t know where from, but they’re definitely vampires that was for sure. “What do you want with us?” Elena asked with fear in her voice. The male vamp rushed over to her, face vamped out ready to take a bite out of Elena but even though my feet were tied together I sent them into his face when he was close enough, sending him flying across the room. “I wouldn’t try that again mate” I smirked at him. “Trevor control yourself!”

I smirked finally getting a name. “Well, we know his name, what about yours?” I asked the female vamp, but Elena spoke up before she could answer me. “Where are we? Can we leave?” She cried making me roll my eyes, yeah sure, they ‘kidnapped’ us but they’re still just gonna let us walk out of here, note the sarcasm.

“No can do I’m afraid” The female vamp spoke rolling her eyes at the humans idiotic questions. “Well can you at least tell us why we’re here to begin with? Better yet, why do I have these ropes around me? They’re kind of irritating”

“Well, at first we only wanted Elena, but there you were and you’re much more worthy, they all thought you were dead” The female vamp spoke as she walked further into the room. “Who thought I was dead? And why am I so worthy? Im just a 169 year old vampire, there’s nothing special about me”

“Please just let us go, please, we didn’t do anything to you” Elena cried making me roll my eyes as her annoying, nagging, whinging voice. “Elena, shut it or you’re gonna get yourself slapped” I snapped sending her a glare, I was fed up of her always playing the victim, plus I couldn’t exactly leave her unprotected, I was sort of on the mend with my brothers and I don’t think it’d go down too well if they found out I let her get killed.

Like I thought would happen the woman rushed over to Elena and slapped her around her face knocking her unconscious. “Well that’s one way to shut her up” I chuckled just as the woman looked over at me with a smile on her face. “Lilly Marie Salvatore” I stared at her looking her over to see if I could figure out how they seemed familiar but nothing jumped out at me. “Well you know my name, any chance you want to share yours?”

“Rose” I smirked once I finally got her name. “Finally, I get your name, now onto my next question, what the hell am I doing in this dump of a house?” I asked as I looked around the room. “Hey, watch it! I’ve worked hard on this place” Trevor snapped as he put a board up against the window stopping the sun from shining into the room. “You really need to see a witch about a daylight ring” I mussed as they both walked out of the room, leaving me with the vervain ropes wrapped around me.

I dragged myself over to Elena listening into Rose and Trevor’s conversation. “Elena” I whispered as I shook her trying to wake her up, but she didn’t budge. “I’m gonna enjoy this” I mumbled before I slapped her around her face, thankfully she woke up. “Now that you’re awake, untie these ropes”

She slowly sat up before finally untying the annoying ropes from around my hands and feet. “Have they said anything?” She whispered looking at me. “Just talked about a man named Elijah, they’ve sent him a message about us or something” I mumbled feeling a little weak and the only way to fix that was to have some blood, but I don’t think Elena was gonna offer me a vein.

“They say they got it” I heard Rose speak from the other room as I rubbed my wrists and ankles now that they’re free from the vervain. “Wonderful, now what?” Trevor asked. Elena went to say something but I held my finger to my lips silently telling her to be quiet. “That’s it Trevor, he either got it or he didn’t we just have to wait” Rose told him. “No, it’s not too late, we can leave them here, we don’t have to go through this” Trevor shouted making me think there was more to the story, they obviously wanted to hand us over for a reason. “I’m sick of running” Rose told him making me smirk.

That’s why they wanted us, they wanted their freedom, but I wonder why they’ve been on the run from this Elijah guy. “Yeah? Well running keeps us from dying” Trevor argued. “Elijah’s old school, if he accepts our deal we’re free” Rose explained making me raise my eyebrows intrigued with why they we’re so panicked about this Elijah guy accepting their deal.

A couple of minutes later they both walked back in to the room, but once Rose realised that Elena was now awake and I was rope free she stormed over to us, no doubt wanting to tie me back up, but before she could I grabbed Elena and rushed us to the other side of the room. “You know, it makes me think that you know a lot about me” I stated as I let Elena go but making sure she stood next to me.

“What makes you think that?” Rose asked raising her eyebrows. “Well you’re making sure I’m constantly weak, you obviously know that I could rip your heart out and not think twice about it” I smirked at her, seeing a look in her eyes making me realise I was right, she was scared of me.

“Who’s Elijah?” Elena spoke up making the 3 of us look over at her. “He’s your worst nightmare” Trevor spoke up making me chuckle but I guess he didn’t like that since he rushed over to me snapping my neck.

“Haven’t the Salvatore’s been teaching you any vampire history?” I heard Rose ask as I started to come back around feeling weaker then I was before Trevor snapped my neck, and the only reason I could think off is because they injected me with more vervain. I hate vervain, it should not even exist.

“Who are the originals?” Elena asked her. “Trevor and I have been running from them for over 500 years, we’re tired of it and we want it over, so we’re using you both to get free” Rose told her as I let out a groan sitting up. “But why us? I mean there’s other vampires and humans out there, there’s obviously a reason as to why you chose us specifically, fancy sharing?” I asked them as I leant against the wall rubbing my neck. “Sorry about the neck Lilly” Trevor apologised making me glare at him. “And the vervain” I gritted out, did he think I didn’t notice? Do they take me for a fool?

“They thought you died 90 years ago, and Elena’s the Petrova doppelgänger, she’s the key to breaking the curse” Rose answered my question making me flick my eyes back to her. “The sun and moon curse?” Elena asked confused. “So you do know your history” Rose smirked at her. “What do you mean I’m the key? The moonstone breaks the curse” Elena asked but I figured it out. “No, the moonstone is what binds the curse, the sacrifice is what breaks it” Rose told her exactly what I was thinking.

“The sacrifice?” Elena aske looking over at me scared. “The blood of the doppelgänger, you’re the doppelgänger which means in order to break the curse you’re the one who has to die” Rose explained to her. “Tell us more” Elena told her. “Captivity has made her pushy, eh? What do you want to know dopplelicious?” Trevor asked smirking and I’ve gotta admit I liked that name he gave her, I might just have to use it. Oh who am I kidding? It’s officially her new name, or maybe doppleslut.

“Who are you running from?” Elena asked making me roll my eyes since they already told us that. “The Originals” Trevor stated. “Yeah, she said that, what does it mean?” Elena asked while I tried to figure out a way out of here, I didn’t want to see any original vampire thank you very much. They’re over 1000 years old and I’d rather not meet them. Everytime I heard that an original as in the same town as me I fled, I don’t fancy getting into any of their problems, trouble seems to follow them everywhere. I’ve heard plenty of stories about them and they weren’t good.

“The first family, the old word. Rose and I pissed them off-“ Trevor started but Rose coughed giving him a pointed look. “Correction, I pissed them off, Rose had my back and for over a millennium they’ve wanted us dead”

“What did you do?” I asked intrigued. “He made the same mistake countless others did, he trusted Katerina Petrova” Rose explained making me roll my eyes. “Katherine, of course” I mumbled shaking my head, of course she caused trouble for everyone. “The one and only, the first Petrova doppelgänger” Rose nodded. “I helped her escape her fate and now I’ve, sorry we’ve been marked ever since” Trevor added. “Which is why we’re not gonna make the same mistake again” Rose looked at us both before she walked out the room with Trevor.

My eyes followed them before looking around the room, I needed to get out. “Can we get out of here?” Elena whispered as she came and sat next to me. “I’m too weak Elena, unless you fancy sharing your fantastic blood” I smirked over at her noticing the disgusted look on her face. “Relax, your precious blood is safe” I chuckled as I walked over to sit down on the 2-seater couch that looked ancient.

I needed to get out of here, I didn’t want an original after me, if they think I’m dead then that’s the way it’s going to stat, even if I don’t know why they’re after me. “Look” Elena whispered bringing me out of my thought showing me a piece of paper which I noticed what a note from the Bennett witch. Stefan and Damon are coming for you -B

I guess that just means that they’re only coming for Elena, cheers brothers, showing the family love and all that rubbish. I might just kill her then I can get out of here myself, if I have some of her blood I’ll be a lot stronger to get myself safe and out of here.

I’ll just kill Rose and Trevor and leave Elena here for this Elijah guy, I’ll go back to the boarding house pack my s**t up and leave this town for good, no original will ever find me since I’ll have a witch protect me from all locating spells.

Before I could go through with my plan, Rose and Trevor came walking back in, Rose starting to pick everything up off the floor making it look tidy while Trevor paced around panicking. “He’s here, this was a mistake” I stared at him realising how scared he was. “No, I told you I would get us out of this, you have to trust me” Rose told him as she walked over to him to try and calm him down. “No! He wants me dead Rose!” Trevor panicked. “He wants them more” Rose pointed over to me and Elena.

I looked over to Elena, well more specifically her neck, just one bite. “NO! You give them to him, he’ll have mercy on you, but I need to get out of here” Trevor shouted making me look over at him. “Hey! What are we?” Rose asked placing her hands on his shoulders holding him in place. “We’re family, forever” He spoke nodding just as there was a knock on the door making them both become scared. “You’re petrified” I whispered as I flicked my eyes around the room trying to come up with a plan to get out of here.

“Get her out of here” Rose told Trevor pointing over to me as she walked out of the room to get the door. Trevor grabbed me by the arm dragging me into another room and I couldn’t put up much of a fight since he injected me with a s**t load of vervain which near enough put me out.

“Human, it’s impossible… Hello there” I heard someone say and Elena’s heavy breathing coming from the room I was previously in. “We also have someone else for you” Rose told him. “And who else could you possibly have for me Rose?” He questioned just as Trevor dragged me into the room, while I basically stumbled behind him. “You know if you hadn’t of vervained me up I would rip your heart out and shove it dow-“ I was cut off by the original. “Lilly Marie?”

I turned my head towards him raising my eyebrows. “And you are?” I asked weakly the vervain really affecting me. “What have you done to her?” He asked as he took me out of Trevor’s grip, carefully walking me over to the couch so I could sit down. Wow, someone actually cares. “We had to take precautions” Rose stated.

“How is this possible? We thought – We couldn’t – He told us-“ He stumbled over his words before Rose cut him off. “She doesn’t remember you” She explained to him. “Silence” He spoke not even looking over at her. “How do you know me”? I asked weakly, I had no energy left, I just wanted to sleep but I knew I couldn’t let the darkness take over, I needed to fight it. I needed to get out of here safe.

“All your questions will be answered soon sweetheart” He smiled at me before turning to look at Elena. “We have a long journey ahead of us, we should be going”

“Please don’t let him take us” Elena begged looking over at Rose who looked anywhere but the doppleslut, she obviously felt bad but she’d do anything to get her freedom, so would I. “One last piece of business then we’re done” Elijah spoke before turning to look at Trevor.

“I’ve waited for this day for so long Elijah, I’m truly very sorry” Trevor apologised. “Your apologies are not necessary” Elijah waved him off. “Yes, yes it is. You trusted me with Katerina and I failed you” Trevor told him. “Yes, you are the guilty one, Rose aided you because she was loyal to you, now that I admire… where was your loyalty?” Elijah questioned.

"I beg your forgiveness" Trevor begged the original. "So granted" Elijah told him with a smile on his face, before he knocked Trevor's head clean off his neck, with his bare hand. "Impressive" I mumbled more to myself, while Elena gasped covering her mouth with her hand, taking a step backwards, and Rose cried "You-"

"Don't Rose. Now that you are free" Elijah warned her before she said anything else as he walked over to me and picked me up and looked at Elena, holding his hand out to her. "Come"

"What about the moonstone?" Elena bargained. "What do you know about the moonstone?" Elijah asked her, intrigued. I wanted to slap Elena, you don't bargain with an original. "I know that you need it, and I know where it is" Elena told him. "Yes?" Elijah nodded. "I can help you get it" she told him. "Tell me where it is" Elijah demanded.

"It doesn't work that way" Wrong thing to say love. He's an Original – a vampire for over 1000 years. "Are you negotiating with me?" Elijah asked her before looking at Rose. "It's the first I've heard of it" She told him, with tears still in her eyes.

I was doing my complete best to try and keep my eyes open but it was getting harder by the minute. "What is this vervain doing around your neck?" Elijah asked pulling the necklace from around her neck. "Tell me where the moonstone is" Elijah compelled her. I bet she wishes she’d being injected with vervain.

"In the tomb underneath the church ruins" Elena told him robotically. "What's it doing there?" He compelled her again. "It's with Katherine" She told him as I let out a groan. “Try and keep your eyes open for a little longer, Lilly" He told me smiling down at me, which shocked me.

He's chopped Trevor's head off, compelled Elena, but smiles down at me. Are you bipolar mate? I heard something smash in a different room, and I'm guessing the others did. "What is that?" Elijah asked. "I don't know" Rose told him. "Who else is in this house?" Elijah asked. "I don't know" She told him again.

Elijah grabbed Elena by the arms and started walking out of the room, just as my eyes started getting heavy. Then it was lights out for me.

I just hope my brothers get me out of here as well.
