Chapter 4; No humanity

Lilly

I’ve spent the whole day in my room drinking bloodbags and alcohol relaxing with my fire place on.

I love my room now that it was finally finished, and it’s just the way I wanted it. As you step through the door you walk into my bedroom, to the right there’s a large open doorway that lead to my bathroom and closet.

Damon now has a new walking bloodbag who happens to be Caroline Forbes and when Elena finds out I knew that the s**t was gonna hit the fan, but I couldn’t wait for that to happen.

Stefan is now on the school football team after trying out the other day, he also went for a meal at Elena’s so Bonnie could get to know him but I gate crashed and then Damon joined us with his bloodbag Caroline.

It was pretty funny actually since Stef got pissed off because we are now officially invited into her home meaning we can go whenever we want, which obviously worries him thinking we’re gonna kill his precious Elena.

We even brought up Katherine, which made the night even more entertaining. Stef even tried to get Caroline to take her scarf off which was hiding the bite marks that Damon has covered her in, but Damon cut in making Caroline leave and help Caroline and Bonnie clean to pots.

After the whole ‘I’ve been invited in so I can come back whenever I want’ conversation I headed back home for the night having enjoyed myself enough for one night.

So here I was laying on my bed with a bloodbag and a bottle of whiskey on my bedside drawer.

I grabbed my phone as it pinged meaning I had a message.

Meet me at the school, there’s a party and a game -Damon

I smirked to myself as I finished my bloodbag before throwing the empty bag in the little bin before going to jump in my shower stripping off my pyjamas as I did.

I was going to the party because I knew Stefan would be there and I want to ruin his life even more, maybe compel Elena to come with me before I kill her in front of him?

After scrubbing myself clean and washing my hair I stepped out wrapping a towel around me to dry myself off before making my way over to my closet to get changed.

I decided to wear some black shorts with a red crop top, adding a black leather jacket and some black high heels to finish off the outfit.

I blasted my hair off with a hairdryer letting it fall natural before adding a bit of makeup like some eyeshadow and some lipstick before grabbing my phone and making my way out of my room.

I quickly left the house and rushed off to the high school so I wasn’t late to have a chance of messing with Stefan.

As I walked towards the football field where everyone was I spotted Elena on her own making this even more perfect.

I rushed around her rattling some leaves on the trees close by. “Who’s there?” I was silent until she started walking again before I rushed behind her, and she obviously heard me because she quickly span around.

“Wow, Lilly, you scared me” She breathed placing her hand against her chest where her heart is.

“Sorry” I chuckled smiling at her. “How are you? I hope me coming to your home the other night didn’t ruin your little date night”

She smiled shaking her head. “It wasn’t a date, it was 3 friends getting to know eachother, but it turned into 6 friends getting to know eachother”

I chuckled before connecting my eyes with her. “You’re going to come with me and not make a noise. I need to have some fun with Steffie”

She stared at me making me think that the compulsion was working but I was sadly mistaken as she blinked her eyes staring at me like I was crazy. “What is with you and Damon? He tries to kiss me and now you want me to come with you?”

I stared at her shocked before my eyes fell to the necklace that she was wearing. STEFAN!

I stared at her as she turned around and started walking towards the field to watch the game.

“Vervain in the necklace” I rolled my eyes still looking in front of me. “No s**t Sherlock, now where is Steffie?” I questioned finally turning to look behind me at Damon.

“Getting ready for the game” I sighed but followed behind Damon so we could catch Stefan before the game. I was pissed off, he stopped my whole plan and he was gonna pay for it.

"What you did back there. You had Jeremy's back" Matt spoke to Stefan while me and Damon hid in the shadows. "He's a messed up kid. Somebody's got to look out for him" Stefan told him.

"I know... Look this week at practice I was a d**k" Matt told him. "You had your reasons" Stefan told him making me roll my eyes.

"That's no excuse" Matt told him before holding out his hand for Stefan to shake, which he did. "Good luck tonight. We're lucky to have you”

As soon as Matt walked away Damon started clapping, making an appearance from the shadows.

"Isn't that nice... Stefan joins the team and makes a friend" Damon cooed making me laugh as I walked out of the shadows.

"It's all rah rah, go team, yeah!" I sang, as I walked out of the shadows.

"Not tonight. I'm done with the both of you" Stefan told us before going to walk off but I sped in front of him.

“You ruined my plans for tonight. Nice trick with Elena. Vervain in a necklace how very romantic of you” I stared at him.

“I must admit, I was a bit surprised. It’s been a while since anyone’s resisted my compulsion… Now where did you get it?” Damon questioned as he came to stand next to me looking at Stefan.

“Does it matter?” Stefan questioned before going to walk off. “I guess I could just seduce her the old fashion way” Damon “Or I could just eat her. Get rid of her all together”

“No. You’re not gonna hurt her, neither of you are” Stefan spoke walking back towards us flicking his eyes between us both.

“No?” Damon questioned sticking out his lip for a second before looking at Stefan.

“No, you won’t Damon because there’s a part of you that cares for her. I was worried you had no humanity left inside of you, that you may have become the monster that you pretend to be”

“That doesn’t mean I won’t kill her” I spoke up making him look over at me.

“You won’t touch her Lilly. Just like Damon, I thought that you had no humanity left in you, but I can still see the woman that cried the day she lost everything, no matter how much you pretend not to be her anymore”

I stared at him raising my eyebrows. “Who’s pretending?” I questioned him. “Then kill me” He held out his arms making me chuckle to myself.

“Gotta admit, it sounds fun, but I think I’ll prefer keeping you around to ruin your life” I chuckled.

“I’m tempted” Damon shrugged c*****g his head to the side. “No, you’re not. You’ve had lifetimes to do it and yet, here I am. I’m still alive and there you both are, you’re still haunting me after 145 years. Katherine is dead and you hate me because you loved her and you torture me because you still do and that my brother is your humanity. I just beg to question why you don’t haunt Lilly, she is the one who got her killed in the first place”

I chuckled shaking my head. “How heart felt and I did it because the b***h deserved it. Just like you deserve everything you get from this day on”

“Salvatore!”

I looked behind Stefan to see someone walk out looking over at Steffie as he walked over to us. “What the hell? We’ve got a game to play”

“Just remember you deserve it” I smirked at Stef before I rushed behind the teacher letting my face vamp out before I bit down on his neck, his blood flowing into my mouth. “NO!”

Once he was dead I let him drop to the floor, his eyes wide open with fear. I looked over at my brothers who wore different expressions, Damon was smiling while Stefan stared at me. “Remember you deserve this” I spat at him my face still vamped out before I sped off back to the boarding house.

As soon as I walked in I made my way upto my room and into my bathroom grabbing the bottle of whiskey as I passed.

I didn’t bother getting a shower since I got in one a few hours ago so instead I just had a quick wash in the sink before getting into some pyjamas.

I walked over to drawers that I had in my closet pulling out a wooden box which held some of my victims possessions that I’ve being collecting over the years.

I walked over to the bed opening the box a bunch of jewels been revealed. I can’t remember them all since part of my immortal life is a bit foggy since I spent it drinking and killing.

I grabbed the necklace that had always stood out to me, it held a triquetra symbol that held 2 crescent moons on both sides.

It’s always stood out to me, like it was calling me. Shaking my head I put the necklace back before standing up and putting the box back in my drawers.

I walked over to my fire switching it on along with the TV before laying down on my bed with a bloodbag relaxing with a bit of radio playing in the background.
