I sat anxiously in Aadavan's study waiting. It has been a week since Isolde appeared. When she said she would be back soon, I expected her here sometime this week but she still hasn't showed up.
"You are biting your nails" my mate said. I pulled my hands out of my mouth quickly. I had not noticed I was biting them and I had almost finished the nail on my index finger.
My mate sighed behind me. I heard his footsteps approaching before he lifted me into his arms.
"You have been anxious all day and I can feel your worry through the bond. Care to tell me what is bothering you?"
I sighed. "Isolde"
"If she said she will come back then I guess she will. You need to stop worrying"
"Something could have happened. And you have seen it yourself, the hem had been glowing for days now" I pointed
