When twenty-three year old Ariella Martinez meets billionaire Noah Armani at her receptionist job, she dismisses him as just another wealthy client. But Noah is immediately captivated by the beautiful, guarded young woman who refuses to be impressed by his money or intimidated by his power. Despite her resistance, he pursues her relentlessly, offering rides, showing up at her bartending job, and eventually proposing an unconventional arrangement: move into an apartment he owns, quit one of her exhausting jobs, and have dinner with him once a week.Ariella, drowning in student debt and working herself to the bone, reluctantly accepts. What begins as a tentative connection quickly deepens into an intense, passionate love affair. Noah, forty-two and emotionally scarred from a lifetime of abandonment, finds in Ariella a reason to feel again. Ariella, wounded by past betrayal, discovers in Noah a man who sees her, truly sees her, for the first time. But their happiness shatters when Ariella discovers the devastating truth: Noah's estranged son, Brian, is her ex-boyfriend—the man who cheated on her, humiliated her, and broke her heart. When Brian learns his father is dating his ex, he becomes consumed with vengeance, determined to destroy their relationship through manipulation, threats, and public scandal. As Brian wages war against them, Noah's controlling nature intensifies while Ariella fights to maintain her independence. Their age gap, once just a number, becomes a weapon used against them. Through therapy, separation, and ultimate reconciliation, they must learn to trust, to communicate, and to love without possession. The Billionaire Daddy's Addiction is a sweeping, emotional journey of two broken people finding wholeness in each other, a story of forbidden love, family betrayal, and the redemptive power of choosing someone despite the world telling you not to.

Chapter 1
The fluorescent lights of Hartwell Insurance hummed like a persistent mosquito, drilling into Ariella's skull with relentless precision. She'd been staring at the same spreadsheet for twenty minutes, her eyes blurring the numbers into meaningless shapes, when the elevator doors slid open with a soft chime. She looked up on instinct, it was her job, after all, and forgot how to breathe. The man who stepped out wasn't just handsome. Handsome was a word for movie stars and magazine covers. This man was commanding. He moved like he owned the building, like he owned the city, like the very air parted for him. His suit was charcoal gray, tailored to perfection, and probably cost more than her monthly rent. His salt-and-pepper hair was impeccably styled, and his gray eyes swept the room with quiet authority before landing on her. Ariella straightened in her chair, suddenly aware of her wrinkled blouse and the coffee stain on her sleeve from this morning's disaster. She pasted on her professional smile, the one she'd perfected over two years of dealing with difficult clients and Derek's tantrums. "Good afternoon, welcome to Hartwell Insurance. How may I help you?" The man approached her desk, and she caught the subtle scent of his cologne—something woody and expensive. Up close, he was even more striking. Fine lines around his eyes suggested he was older, maybe late thirties or early forties, but they only added to his distinguished appearance. He had a strong jaw, a straight nose, and lips that curved into a slight smile as he studied her. "I have a meeting with Derek Hartwell," he said. His voice was deep, smooth, the kind of voice that could command boardrooms or whisper secrets in the dark. Ariella nodded, her fingers already moving to the computer. "Of course. Your name, sir?" "Noah Armani." She typed the name, and her eyebrows lifted slightly. Armani. The Armani Industries Armani? The billion-dollar real estate empire Armani? She'd heard Derek mention the name before, usually in tones of reverence mixed with greed. Apparently, Armani was considering investing in some properties Hartwell was trying to sell. "Mr. Armani, I see your appointment. Mr. Hartwell is expecting you. Let me notify his assistant." She picked up the phone, but Noah didn't move toward the hallway. Instead, he leaned against her desk, his eyes never leaving her face. "You have a lovely smile," he said. "Ariella, is it?" She glanced at her nameplate, a cheap plastic thing Derek had ordered in bulk. "Yes, sir. Ariella Martinez." "Martinez." He rolled the name around like he was tasting it. "Beautiful name. Spanish?" "My mother was Mexican," she said, keeping her voice neutral. "Mr. Hartwell's office is just down the hall," "How long have you worked here, Ariella?" The question caught her off guard. She blinked, her professional mask slipping for just a moment before she recovered. "Two years, sir." "Two years." He nodded slowly. "And you enjoy it?" "I enjoy paying my bills," she said before she could stop herself. Noah's smile widened, and something flickered in his gray eyes, interest, amusement, something deeper she couldn't name. "Honesty. I appreciate that." Ariella felt heat rise to her cheeks. She wasn't supposed to talk to clients like that. Derek would have her head if he found out. "I'm sorry, sir. That was unprofessional." "Don't apologize." He straightened, adjusting his cuffs. "I prefer people who speak their minds. It's rare in this city." Before she could respond, Derek's office door swung open and the man himself appeared, his face flushed with excitement. "Mr. Armani! Welcome, welcome! I hope my receptionist has been taking good care of you." Noah's eyes lingered on Ariella for a moment longer. "She has been... most attentive." Ariella felt her face flush deeper. Derek didn't notice, he was too busy ushering Noah toward his office, practically tripping over himself to impress the billionaire. But Noah paused at the threshold, glancing back at her. "Ariella," he said, "it was a pleasure." Then he was gone, disappearing into Derek's office, and Ariella was left alone with her racing heart and the uncomfortable feeling that something had just shifted in her carefully ordered world. She shook her head, forcing herself to focus on the stack of papers in front of her. He was just a client. A rich, powerful, impossibly attractive client who was probably used to women throwing themselves at him. She wasn't going to be one of them. She had bills to pay. A life to rebuild. A past to forget. She didn't have time for billionaires with nice smiles and too many questions.
