Unexpected meeting

Aiden’s POV

Finally, I reached the cafe at 8:30 pm. Mike was already there waiting for me and enjoying his drinks. We were talking about business, but suddenly my heart started beating fast. I don’t know the reason, but it was not normal. Mike analyzed it on my face and asked me if I was fine but I ignored the hints and informed him that I was OK and we continued the discussion. I thought it was the place because of which I was feeling like this.

In the middle of the conversation, suddenly my eye fell on a girl sitting in a chair with her friends. As they were far from us, I was not able to see the faces of anyone. But, that girl had something, so I was eager to see her face. She was wearing a red maxi dress that fitted her so much like it was just made for her. Her hair was long and wavy. Her actions were making me more excited to see her face. But, suddenly I remembered about Kiara. Why the hell am I thinking about that girl? But, it is not a bad idea to have a one-night stand with her. After a long time, I got interested in a girl.

As our conversation was over, Mike left the cafe with his men and I made up my mind to stay for some more time because of that girl. I know it’s wrong to sleep with anyone else when I have found that Kiara is alive and soon will be with me, but just one sight of that girl was making me crazy. I didn’t know what happened to me.

Finally, I stood and started to go toward her. I was about to see her face when a child came and held her hand and took her with him. Maybe she was already married and the mother of a child, hence I dropped my thoughts and went outside the cafe. When I was about to get inside my car, I heard a voice- Aiden, is this you?

Logan- I spoke. Hey buddy, how are you? Long time no see?- Logan said and asked me to join the party. I was refusing and getting frustrated because of foolish emotional tantrums, as I care. But, as he is one of Kiara’s friends. I couldn’t refuse him, so I went inside the cafe.

I reached the same place where that girl was sitting but she was not there now. Everyone was joking and laughing, enjoying each other's company. Guys see who's here- Logan shouted. Listening to Logan's words, everyone looked at me and screamed" Aiden, you bastard, where were you? Everyone came and hugged me. In reality, I was hating all that. If it was not for Kiara, I would have killed all of them.

Hey guys, thanks for inviting me, but I am in a rush now so I have to go, but we will meet soon. Mira said- Okay! Sorry to hear that. We know that you are a busy person now, but you still took out some time to meet us. Also, please take Kian with you. He was feeling sleepy.

Sorry, but I will head directly to my home and my route is not in the city so I will not be able to give a lift to him. Listening to my words, everyone was shocked and became silent. Mira broke the silence and laughed- Hahaha, nice joke, and everyone else also started to laugh, thinking if I was joking.

I raised my eyebrows at them, not knowing the reason for their laughing. Seeing this, everyone was now seriously shocked and doubtful. I don’t have time for your nonsense. It's done for me now. Anger was visible in his eyes.

Logan- Aiden, wait, why are you behaving like you don’t know Kian? Firstly, I don’t think she told you that she was coming here with Kian and if you are going home then just take him with you. You guys live in the same house, right?

Why the hell will I stay with any guy in my house? Are you guys mad or what? And who is she? It's none of my business whoever she is and with whom she is coming and going why she will tell me. She is not my wife.

Seeing my frustration, Mira came and asked me to stay calm and sat next to me. Relax, are you guys having a fight? First, you both didn’t come together and now you are not taking Kian with you. I understand it’s normal to have fights between husband and wife, but don’t drag your kid between this. If there is some misunderstanding, I will talk to Kiara- Mira said.

My eyes got bright when hearing about Kiara. Where is she?- I bluntly asked her. She just went to the car to bring Kian milk. But I have to say, Kian got the quality of both of you. He got looks from you and kindness from Kiara.

I said, where is she? Now I said it in a deadly tone. Shhheee’s inside.- Mira was shuttered because of my tone. All my men started to find her but she was nowhere to be found. I took out my gun and started to smatch things from the cafe. Kiara come out!! I know you are here. Come the hell out or if I find you it will not be good for you.

Kiara’s POV

I was enjoying the party when suddenly I started feeling uneasy. In fact, I was not very comfortable here as everything here was making me remember Aiden more. I don’t want to remember him and just wanted to get out of here now. In the corner of my heart, there was a fear that if by any chance Aiden came here, how would I react? I was thinking all about this when I noticed someone was coming towards us. He looked very familiar, but because of the rush and that person being far away, I was not able to see his face. I don't even know why I noticed him. Then, suddenly, Kian came and held my hand, asking me for milk. I turned towards him and after a few minutes, when I turned back, that person was not there or might be he had already passed from our side.

It was almost 11 pm now, and Kian was also sleepy, so I tried to book a cab but it was not getting booked. I didn’t want to disturb Ryan, hence I thought of a cab, but it was not a good idea. As the cab was not getting booked inside the cafe, I told my friends that I am taking Kian to get milk from Mira’s car and also tried to book a cab on my way. After trying for almost half an hour, at last I called Ryan. First, he scolded me in a caring tone that I should have called him before instead of trying to book the cab, then he told me it would take him half an hour to reach the cafe.

After talking with Ryan, I went inside the cafe so I could stay with my friends until Ryan comes to pick us up. My baby was already sleeping so I held him. From outside the cafe, suddenly there was a loud noise like someone was smatching things and I stood at my place and suddenly I got a call from Mira.

Kiara, where are you? - she asked. I am just outside the cafe. What's wrong, I am getting loud noises from inside.- I told her. There’s nothing. Just come inside the cafe as soon as possible. The noises are not related to us. It is from some drunk people but it's over now.- She said. Once she spilled these words, suddenly everything was silent. I also did not care much and went inside as these kinds of things were normal in a cafe.

After getting inside, I noticed the cafe's condition was not good. I saw my friends. They were standing like a statue. I went towards them and asked, hey guys what's going on? Suddenly, Mira Spoke- I am sorry Kiara! I was confused and made Kian lie on the sofa! I was about to say something when suddenly I heard a voice I didn’t want to dream about!!
