Aiden POV

It was around 8 am when David arrived at Aiden’s house and went directly to his room. Aiden was not in his room. He called him. However, he was not responding to calls. After calling for some time, he realized Aiden’s phone was on the bed in silent mode. Suddenly, he heard some loud voices like someone was smashing something. He went towards the bar and seeing that Aiden was in his worst stage, smelling full of alcohol and smashing everything in the bar, he went towards him and shook him. Aiden, what the hell are you doing? Are you out of your mind? Are you seriously drinking at this time? - David asked worryingly.

David, are you here? Where is she? - he asked him in hope. David was trying to calm him down as he knew that Kiara would never come back into his life and thought he might have seen someone else instead of Kiara. Aiden, please calm down! For god's sake, she will never come back. Have you forgotten that you killed her with your own hands?- David shouted at Aiden so the words could go into his ears and he could wake from his alcoholic mind.

Hearing this, Aiden lost control and pointed a gun at David. Don’t you dare!! She is not dead, she can’t be dead. If I am alive, it means she has to be alive and we didn't get her body right !! So don’t dare to spill this bullshit. Just find her and you only have time till sundown. At night I want her here and if you are unable to take her, be ready for the consequences, - Aiden said, rage was totally visible in his eyes. Anyone can get a heart attack after seeing it. However, David was habitual about this. After Kiara’s death, not for a single day did Aiden smile or meet any of his friends. Even though many of his friends tried to contact him, he never responded to them and restrained himself from visiting all the places where his friends were. He only went to his office and home. However, he never accepted the fact that Kiara is no more in this world. He never stopped finding her, he never met any girl or his parents. As Kiara didn’t have anyone apart from Aiden as a family, no one knew about her death, not even her friends. Only David, Aiden, and Aiden’s family knew about this.

Before meeting Kiara, Aiden was merciless, careless, rude, and brutal and loved to kill people to gain power. And these traits are very common for a guy belonging to a Mafia family. However, after meeting Kiara, Aiden totally changed. He was kind towards her, he learned how to love and care for someone. His perspective on the world has totally changed. After the unfortunate death of Kiara, he again became ruthless and now more fierce. It was very hard for us to handle him and in these four years many things have changed in our lives. 6 months ago, Aiden’s mother got seriously ill thinking about Aiden’s condition. He loved his mother very much. That's why he finally agreed to give himself a second chance by marrying Sarah. However, he never accepted her as his fiance.

Today, seeing Aiden again in this situation made David really worried. He knew Kiara would never come back, however, to calm down Aiden. He nodded yes to find Kiara and went outside the house.

After David went outside, Aiden kept his gun aside and started going towards a room that was locked. He opened the door with the key of his chain and went inside it.

The room was fully decorated and had a lot of pictures of Kiara. It has a king-sized bed, a big sofa, a shelf filled full with books, and a guitar. The decoration was simple yet memorable. It also has a balcony with lots of floral plants because of which the room is always filled with pleasant smells and positive vibes. Aiden, always keep this room locked. No one apart from Aiden and Aunty Mary can enter this room. Aunty Mary is an old servant who has been with Aiden since his childhood. She had taken care of him as a child. When he took a new villa, he asked Aunty Mary to stay in his house. She knew Kiara and was really fond of her.

Aiden went inside the room and stood near one of Kiara’s pictures in which she was playing with a baby and her face was filled with a glow due to happiness. At that moment, he captured this picture. Aiden knew how much Kiara loved children and how eager she was to have their own baby, but due to her health complications she was not able to conceive. She was too weak to hold a baby in her womb.

He touched her image and started talking to it. Baby! You know how much I miss you ? From the day you have been missing I have tried to find you a lot, but there was no trace. I know you are alive, I couldn’t mistake anyone with you. No one in the world can be like yours. You are my girl and my possessiveness. If you are not willing to be by my side, I will still make your mind change. We have to see a lot of things together. Please come back to me! I couldn’t think of living without you. See what you have made me. You are the angel of my house. Without you I am nothing, my existence doesn’t matter. I know I have made mistakes, but I don’t regret them. You dared to leave me? How I could be calm after your stunts. I just want to tell you one thing. I will not allow you to be in your own life, you are mine and only mine. Once I find you, I will never let you step from our room for a single second. The pain you have given me is not bearable. I will not let it go too easily.

Suddenly, Aiden’s phone rang. It was one of his clients who came from Russia for an important deal for 2 days. Aiden answered the call ‘Hey! Aiden, how are you buddy ? - Mike asked.

Hello! Mr Mike , I am good. I know today is an important meeting and I have checked the venue. Is it possible we can change it? I don’t think it's a safe place to have business talks- Aiden said. It was totally clear by his voice that he didn't want to go to this venue. But he couldn’t say that directly because Mr. Mike is a top mafia person and one of his good friends. He never changes the venue which is selected as, according to him, sudden things can lead to big consequences.

Aiden, is there any problem with the venue? - Mr Mike asked. Mike had known Aiden for a long time; he was like a child to him. They share a good bond as Mike was his father’s best friend. He taught Aiden a lot. That’s why Aiden always respects him. No! I will be there. - Aiden finally spoke and cut the call.

Aiden didn’t have any problem with any of the venues as all were fully checked and prepared for their meetings. But this time I don't know why Mr. Mike had chosen this one- he thought. He never wanted to go there. Earlier, he also only went there because of Kiara. The chosen venue was none other than Café Du Monde where Kiara, Aiden and their friends used to gather once a year for a reunion.
