“Babalik ako sa hospital,” sabi ko makalipas ang ilang minuto. Hindi siya sumagot at isang beses na sulyap lang ang ginawa niya kaya inis ko siyang tiningnan. I do appreciate him helping the firm but I can’t stay in his place like what he wants.

“Someone is after your parents’ life and it’s obvious that they are after you now, too. Magpapadala ang NBI para magbantay sa hospital. Can you stop being hard headed for a moment?” tunog malamig at inis na sambit niya kaya napalunok ako at kaagad na umiling.
“What? Then I must be in the Hospital where Mom and Dad are! Kung may banta sa buhay nila ay mas mabuti pang nandoon ako. And I’ll pay you for working in the firm,” I insisted but he’s obviously not happy because he threw me his dagger looks.
