Selexa's voice filled her mind. It seemed to vibrate through her as she listened to the voice inside her head weave a cocoon of lost memories around her. She felt like she was being hypnotized or put into a trance.
No, came the soft voice, not hung hypnotized. Merely relaxed and comforted.
Remember...
Remember...
Remember...
It echoed in her mind.
....then it all came flooding back in one mad rush of feelings and emotions.

She realized that she had been holding her breath and exhaled loudly, looking around her as she fought with the temptation to run.
She felt her heart beating wildly in her chest as her normally ordered way of thinking took flight. Her brain was frantically trying to process the download it had received, and she just shut down. As she crumbled to the floor, she heard Selexa whisper softly to her as she felt unconsciousness take over.
"Fear not, Zefreya... sleep now. Let your journey begin...."
And she traveled away from here to another place, another time. Safe. Secure. Wrapped in the knowledge that none of us is alone, that we've never been alone.
"If only the world knew" was her last thought.
"They will soon..." came the reply.
Then silence. Blessed blackness swallowed her.

Flashes of images that she had seen in her dreams and in pictures moving so fast she couldn't keep up with them, telling her they were more like memories. Puma Punku, Teotihuacán, Machu Picchu, Tiwanaku, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and many others paraded one after the other through her mind.
What is happening, she wondered. Thus, it became clear she was seeing the history of man and its beginnings. It was mesmerizing. It was shocking and answered so many questions that for thousands of years had plagued mankind.
This, more than anything, could save us, she thought, but was the world ready for the truth? Could they believe? WOULD they believe?
She let herself be swept away by the knowledge being bestowed upon her....

All of a sudden, the man she knew simply as Pharaoh was beside her, and she was back in the beautiful place she met Selexa. Her surprised gaze took in the ornate carved columns this time, wondering how she had missed them before. She heard his voice fill the area.
"The oracle was not activated when last you were present." He paused for a minute, clearly choosing his words carefully before speaking again.
"It is a transportation device that, long ago, was present in your world. It was dismantled, and the pieces were hidden in several different locations. They've been discovered by the government and hidden from the population of earth until the time of our return. Not all the artifacts that were left behind have been unearthed, and the pieces I spoke of are about to be revealed. It is time our paths once again become intertwined."
When he stopped speaking, I glanced in his direction to find him looking at me intently. His eyes were hooded and seemed to look, not at me, but through me. I doubt he was aware of the intensity of his gaze, but it was intimidating, making me look away.
He shook his head as if to clear it, and I heard his voice fill my head.
It's easier to communicate with you this way as I am not accustomed to your language. It doesn't fall naturally from my lips and some words or phrases. I don't know their true meaning. While your language is similar to the Anunnaki verse, some of the words you speak have a different meaning to my people. Silence reigned for a minute or two before he spoke again.
I have a story to present you with, he silently told me. It's the tale of your race, humans, and how it all began and how it ended for many years....
He looked straight at me and said, "I am Pharaoh... and The Anunnaki have returned.
