Losing Love

I heard sniffing and whispering around me and some calling me but I can't open my eyes, so I try moving one of my fingers and heard gasps. "Dear, can u hear us? oh my god I think she's gonna wake up anytime soon" then she continued to cry. the next day, I can feel someone touching my hands and it seems wet or its just this person's hand is sweating "I dont know if you can clearly hear me but I am deeply sorry for leaving you in times where you needed me most" oh its a guy, is he sobbing? but i can't remember this voice though its bringing warmth to me. After a week, the girl woke up, healthy and is getting more beautiful as ever, she looks confused as to why she's wearing hospital gown, as she scans the room there is 3 persons staring at her, A one gray haired woman in her early 50s, a man in his late 50s "who are you?" she asked and her parents looks dismay as it was expected she may be experiencing amnesia as the doctor explains it to them but they should not be worry because the doctor said that not all of her memories is forgotten unless she wants it to be erase. "We are your parents, dear, you were in a coma for the last 10 yrs. and we thought we lost you forever" the woman cried "Oh no, don't cry, I'm okay now" she smiled and hug her parents reassuring that she's fine now. ~~ Years goes by, the girl seems to be back on track, having friends and got a work and shop. Thankfully, her friend, Jen, understand her situation so she keeps explaining to her how they became friends and everything she loves to do. the door suddenly burst open "Eva~ you're awake" running towards me is a lady in suit, hugging and bawling, I got confused because I don't remember her yet "Its fine, its just me, your Jennifer or Jen or whatever you want to call me, Thank goodness! you are awake now, you made me worry every single day! You made me a Christian girl for last 10 yrs!" she jokingly said and continues to cry on my shoulder "Okay now, I'm perfectly fine Jen, and stop crying" smiling and patting her back. ~~ ff. One time, Jen and I decided to shop near the town and I notice a food truck, also I am craving on this particular food for some reason so I told Jen to eat there, "Let's eat there" I happily points the truck But Jen seems confused and giving me the *look* "What? Can't I eat there" I asked in confusion "No, I thought the memory is coming back" Jen said "Oh, i don't know, it's just that I am craving and this truck is calling me" I said Jen murmurs to herself "Okay maybe she doesn't recognize him, lets just ignore it" and smiled "Okay lets eat here" and as we both sat and talk, I stood up to go to the counter and the server look so shocked when our eyes met "Eva?" the guy said "Do I know you?" I ask in confusion, Jen notice the encounter so she stood up, putting her hands on my shoulder and said "Oh Timothy, remember me? it's Jen from university, how are you? Eva is experiencing some temporary amnesia right now, so she may not remember you" she awkwardly told the guy "Who is he by the way? how does he know me?" I asked Jen "Oh he's our schoolmate from university, Timothy" She said in a defensive mode. "Oh, Hi Tim. I apologize I cannot remember you right now, but is it okay to call you Tim?" I said in my cheerful voice and extended my hand which he rejected, hmmm okay. However, Timothy still in shock and processing about what is happening right now so he keeps looking back and forth to me and Jen ~~ He pulled Jen to the side "What happened? why did I not know anything about this?" Timothy asked angrily to Jen "Well maybe if you stayed to her 10 yrs ago, you'll know" Timothy is still left confused and trying to process everything. ~~ As I wait for Jen to finish her food, I keep staring to this Timothy guy and began to wonder why do I feel so connected to him. As Jen paid our meals and bid goodbye to Tim. I excused myself "uhm, can i talk to you, Tim?" forcing my smile "Yup, give me a second" he replied I wait beside the truck and stares at Timothy who is talking to Jen, I can sense like they are hiding something because of how serious they are. Timothy walks towards me and I examines his face and how tall this guy is " okay First question, Do you really know me? Timothy or tim?, I know its weird to ask you this but I just wanted to know the truth" I clarifies Tim clears his throat "I know" forcing his smile "Well, we were schoolmates in university and thats it" I am analyzing if he is telling the truth to me "That's it? Nothing else?" I continued "Nothing else, we were close, spent some time together along with our friends and that's all" Thats it! I can feel this Timothy guy is hiding something from me, maybe he can help me remember things in the past "So we were just friends?" I raised my brows Tim stares at me "We were *not just friends*" he whispers "What?" I tilted my head Moving forward, I went home with a lot of questions and confusion on why do i feel like we are connected somehow. As I arrive home I told my parents about the encounter with Timothy "Ma, do i have a friend named Tim? or Timothy? i dont know his last name though" my parents look so shock when I mentioned his name "Why do you ask, honey?" dad ask "I don't know, I have a feeling that we know each other, anyways, maybe its just the medicine kicking in, I'm going to sleep" I walk up to the stairs and heard my parents say "Okay, Goodnight honey" *sigh*
