Sweet Starry Shadows Chapter 31: Outbreak Master Makarov eyed the gang inside of his office with his hands behind his back. Turning his head to look at the crimson, he raised his brow to which she gave him a small smile and pointed down to the man tied on the floor. "Is he one of the Celestial wizards?" he asked, surprising Lucy that he knew about Sakura's situation. The blonde girl face-palming herself, she scolded herself for being stupid. Of course, he knew. If he didn't then he would've been questioning her about something else rather than straightforwardly questioning the crimson about the man. "That’s correct, he refused to answer any of my questions and tell me anything so I took away his magic and freed Chaverine by having the master lose his capabilities of controlling without magic which I hope will do something," Sakura answered where Chaverine stood up straight to bow her head to the old man. Makarov looking at the young dragon, he turned to look at Sakura. "If you were able to free her by doing that, why won't you just do that to the others," he suggested where she shook her head and sat up straight. "It would take too much time for me to do that. I can't risk my team to do that and, it's too close for comfort. They can retaliate on me risking both of our lives," she replied where Lucy looked up to her with a smile. The old man nodding, he looked at Lucy and smiled. "You seem to have gotten stronger my child. How is it?" he said, already knowing that Lucy had left his guild due to her situation. Lucy forcing herself to smile, Rogue protectively shuffled closer to her chair which didn't go unnoticed by the present Dragon Slayers. His eyes narrowing to one of the corners of the room, he balled his fists. "You seem to have left our family as well Sakura... Without telling me," he continued where Sakura narrowed her eyes with a snarl vibrating the very room. "You know me far too well to know my reason Makarov. I refuse to leave a family member behind," she stated as she stood up slowly. Laxus placing a hand on her shaking body, he pushed her back to the chair where she growled in anger. "They hurt her without proper proofing and reasoning, and I don't want to stay around here where I’ll be forced to watch it happen. Tell me Makarov, am I'm a really a tool here for the guild?" she said where the old man widened his eyes. "Who told you that?" The crimson scoffed. "Lisanna told us that Sakura was going to represent the guild for the Grand Magic Games to win," Lucy answered where Sakura growled again but this time louder. If eyes could kill, Sakura would've killed the old man in front of her in no time. No matter what reason, she refused to be used like that just for their own benefit. Lucy standing to face Master Makarov, she closed her eyes and took in a deep inhale. "We're no longer Fairy Tail mages but rather, we're Sabertooth mages," she stated before bowing her head. "Since you're here now, please contact the Magic Council about him. We'll be leaving now," she said as she began to head out of the office with Sting, Rogue and Chaverine following her. Sakura remaining behind, she glared at the man on the floor before facing her attention onto the two standing behind the seat in front of her. "And why did you two come here in the first place?" she asked, leaning back into Makarov's seat with a stern expression on her face. "You have guts to come here while the guild is still full of those idiots downstairs. Do you not know how easy it'll be for them to turn their backs on you?" she questioned, ignoring the pointed looks coming from Laxus. "We don't like the atmosphere here in the guild. It feels uncomfortable as if something is ready to strike us if we drop our guards. We wanted to know if we can chill over at Sabertooth from time to time," Gray said where she raised her brows. She sighed and shook her head. "Sabertooth and Fairy Tail... Just what in the world is happening? I'm sorry you guys, but I think you guys should stay here. I don't want you guys to be targeted like what had happened to Lucy. She's... She's still vulnerable around you guys. She's happier over there, and I don't want her to be reminded about what had happened whenever she sees the guild mark," she said as she stood up straight.  "But that isn't my decision. Go tell that Sting if we ever do meet again," she finished before flicking her hair over her shoulder. Walking out of the room, she was greeted by a loud explosion which made her widen her eyes in shock and horror. "Oh goodness! Did I stay for too long?!" she questioned before running. "Screw you and your stupid Sabertooth lies! Sabertooth being like a family?! Have you lost your minds?!" Lisanna screamed as she jumped onto the table with Natsu gritting his teeth in front of her. Lucy standing behind Rogue with narrowed eyes, Sting growled at the shirt white-haired mage in anger. "Our guild isn't like that anymore! Don't go accusing my guild about something that isn't true!" he boomed as Erza stood defensively in front of Lisanna with her sword drawn. "Don't go hurting anyone from Fairy Tail, Sting!" Erza yelled where the male blonde scoffed.  "She dared to try and touch our guild member! We made it clear that we wanted nothing to do with you!" he argued to which Lucy felt her heart throbbing in pain. "What's going on in here?!" Sakura boomed, making everyone snap their heads to the enraged Dragon Slayer at the staircase. Her eyes glowing, her long crimson hair swayed to the breeze of the open doors with her body in a defensive stance. "You... Do you dare attack us? Well, aren’t you so bold and reckless, Lisanna," she growled, jumping to land beside Sting and protectively in front of Lucy and Rogue. The Shadow Dragon Slayer pushing the blonde behind his body, he narrowed his eyes into a deathly glare. His body stiff and ready to strike, Chaverine's eyes shifted into a more feral look like Sakura's. With two enraged dragons by their side right now, it looked like it was going to become bloody if all hell went loose. "Sakura..." Lucy whispered where the crimson's body slightly eased. "Don't hurt them," she instructed, making the crimson snarl. "You're being too lenient to them. They attacked you, did they not?" Sakura whispered back. Her eyes on Erza who was gripping onto her sword tightly, she growled. "You seriously know how to taunt me… Ace, Yuuto - Come to my beckoning," she called where two wolves appeared in front of them. The wolves snapping their jaws, Erza took a step back in caution where Sakura glared at her. The air around them tense as they glared at each other, Natsu made the first move. "Fire Dragon's Roar!" he boomed where Sting jumped into the air. "White Dragon's Roar!" Sting roared, making Ace and Yuuto jump back to avoid the colliding roars. Sakura balling her fists, she gritted her teeth. She was right, the guild was indeed being manipulated by someone - But who was it? Her head snapping back to Lucy, she bit the inside of her cheeks. The only way to shut them all up is to prove that Lucy wasn't weak, as so they claimed. They must have thought that Lucy must have been weak since she's being protected by Rogue who's doing it by instinct… That must be the reason for their constant insults! "Lucy, you need to prove yourself!" Sakura boomed, making the blonde look at her in shock as well as Rogue who snapped his head to her with widened eyes. "Feel the power of the stars! Embrace the warmth of the burning orbs of fire!" she explained where Lucy shook her head. She couldn't control her magic yet. Her Celestial Dragon Slaying magic was too weak to make a difference here. They were stronger than her for goodness sakes! "Believe in yourself. The stars will follow your every command..." Lucy widened her eyes at the sudden voice chiming in her mind. It sounded familiar, like a chime of a bell ringing and vibrating through her mind as it tried to make itself clear to her ears. A pulse shaking through her body, she froze.  That's right... That voice was very familiar... A calling. A memory trying to push itself forward just to be noticed. Her world shifting as everything went clearer, she listened to the many heartbeats beating. Everything was changing, as if... Everything became enhanced. "My dear child, you are strong and you’re much stronger than what they label you to be." Sakura widening her eyes, she froze within the midst of the outbreak to watch Lucy's eyes grow dragon-like - Feral and powerful... Her mind processing the sudden change of Lucy's beating heart, she realised why.  Lucy was shifting into her true Dragon Slayer self. The body of a true Celestial Dragon Slayer. One with enhanced senses with raging stars urging to release themselves to shine and blind its opponents. As if time was slowing down to her, Lucy watched the battle occur in slow motion. Her mouth slightly apart, she turned her head to Sakura where she was about to ask for help. "You have your dragon instincts! Show them what you're made out of and that you are a Celestial Dragon Slayer!" Sakura pressed on as time began to speed up just as Rogue and Sting jumped into the air in sync. The crimson turning to widen her eyes in horror, she tensed up as a ball of fire came flying to her direction. She wasn't going to make it!
