Wolf's Out of The Bag - 14

When we got to the border, there were more rogues than expected, at least fifty, odd since rogues are lone wolves, their stench made me want to throw up.

Suddenly they charged but only seemed to notice Alpha John, while we were picking off random wolves, the majority kept trying to attack the Older Alpha. One had distracted him allowing two others to grab his hind legs, He howled in pain, 'f**k', I thought seeing more rogues emerging from the woods. I heard the Beta let out a howl that actually sounded more like a call, like he was calling someone or something specific.

He must have because within seconds another growl, one like I had never heard before, loud, deep, primal, and shook the battlefield.The growl seemed to force everyone to submit, it was definitely an Alpha Wolf's growl, but all the Alpha's were already in battle.

Everyone paused, fighting stopped momentarily, I could hear Alpha John's whimpers, Then I saw it, a wolf, but no, 'is it'? I thought . It was huge, a little larger than Jax, I noticed it's electric green eyes, how can a wolf have colored eyes, most have black when in wolf form, but it was the Wolf's coat that has everyone still, it wasn't white, it wasn't silver, it was almost translucent and the sun reflected off of it, sending small prisms of light radiating off of it, like rainbows, it was absolutely mesmerizing.

The wolf surveyed the scene, growled again, it seemed that it was able to communicate with the rogues, as soon as it growled many of the rogues fled in every direction, then the weirdest thing happened, the wolf stood on it's hind legs and brought its' front paws down, slamming them into the ground, I swear the earth rumbled underneath our feet, and instantly the rogues that had fled all dropped where they were, not breathing and never to move again.

Thirteen rogues had remained, they had all surrounded Alpha John, one tried to take this opportunity to end the weakened Alpha's life, the Translucent wolf charged the group, sending wolves flying through the air and landing against tree after tree, dead before they made impact.

It was obvious the strange wolf was protecting the Alpha, snarling and growling at any rogues that had the audacity to try and get to the Alpha, eight of the remaining wolves tried to attack the rare wolf at one time, I can't blame them it had worked on one of the most powerful Alpha's, why not this wolf.

Except this wolf was a killing machine, in seconds a rogues neck was in it's snout, snapped while its left paw slashed the throat of another and a back paw had pierced the chest of another. The five other foul creatures tried to jump on the wolves back, pinning the wolf to the ground

Suddenly there was a large explosion and those wolves were flying dead through the air.

The final lone rogue learched at Alpha John while the strange wolf was distracted, but damn, that wolf got to the Alpha first, grabbing the rogue by the throat, then began ripping the wolf to shreds, I had never witnessed such a slaughter, when we die, we shift back into our human form, but this poor bastard, there was nothing left, not an ounce of flesh.

The wolf was covered in blood, but something told me none of it was it's own. The wolf walked to the Alpha, then looked to the Beta, the let out another howl, this one different than the previous, nodded to the Alpha, and took off running, until we couldn't see its form.

The Legions warriors shifted and started cleaning the remains of wolves and burning the bodies, instantaneously a pack ambulance arrived and loaded the Alpha into it and sped away. How had it only taken seconds for them to arrive?

This was definitely the most unusual battle I had ever taken part in. I looked at my Beta, who seemed just as shocked as me, oddly noone from The Legion seemed to think anything weird had taken place, I noticed a few members from other packs, at least they seemed as puzzled as Chasen and I were.

'Thank you all for standing with us' I heard my mates father or who ever he is say, 'Beta, I have a couple of questions' I replied. 'I'd be surprised if you didn't young Alpha, but here is not the time nor place, I'm sure my Alpha will explain once he has recovered' said the Beta, I nodded and began to run back to the pack house, I need to see my mate and tell her we are leaving immediately, there are to many crazy things happening around here and it is time to go!
