Blog Entry 7: A Rippin’ First DateI entered D’Angelos’ feeling nervous. It was Friday night, August, and the temperature at 5:45 in the afternoon hovered around 92 degrees. Yes, D’Angelos’ was air-conditioned, but I was already a sweaty mess before I even entered its doors. Even though I had tried to dress cool (and hot, if you know what I mean), my clothes were already looking wrinkled and sticking to me before I even opened the door of Summitville’s finest Italian restaurant. So my ensemble of blue, yellow, and white plaid cargo shorts and an Oxford blue button-down were looking pretty sad, even though I had ironed them before leaving my apartment.
