Kyra and Isidora’s shock at the sudden roar in the cave lasted only for about a second before they snapped out of it, running to meet up with the others in front to see them face to face with a giant monster.
The monster looked about seven feet tall; it could actually have been much taller as it was crouching. Its body was dark brown, the colour of wet earth after a very heavy rainfall. Its nose flared like a bellow as it breathed heavily in and out, and its eyes were stunningly dark like obsidian. An evil aura surrounded the creature and everyone in the group could feel it, even those without magic.
