Story about Him

Chapter 2

It is the end of my third year in high school, finally!

That was also the time when I first started to unconsciously laugh at his jokes and greet him when I would see him at the corridors, waving his hand at me. 

Catching myself doing that, I decided to not acknowledge that something strange or special was happening. So I did not think about it too much... but now looking back at it, I can say that I was honestly falling for him.

What did I do? 

I of course kept it as a secret, that nobody else but me would know, because I knew that at the end I would be the one to get hurt.

However, the end of the year came very quickly, so I forgot all about it during my summer vacations, at least that was what I made myself believe was the truth...

I first went on an island for three weeks with my friends. We had a lot of fun swimming, laying on the beach, watching the sunset, playing card games, like Uno, and just doing nothing if we didn't have the will for it. 

It was nice relaxing, after a really tiresome school year.

But immediately after returning to my house, I had to get my luggage ready to go to my Chinese language camp, that lasted two weeks. 

I saw the Pearl tower, many water villages, learn more about their culture and language, ate a lot of new and unique food and met people from all around the world! 

Everyday we walked a lot, to try see as much as possible in these two weeks. 

I even started to love drinking tea with milk, which I never did before that trip. So I had a lot of new amazing experiences that summer. 

In addition I had cut my 2 meter long brown hair really short before the start of summer, and now I bleached it, and to add to all of that I got tanned and fitter by going twice a day to the beach, exercising regularly and eating healthy.

Many people when I returned from China could not recognize me. Even the people in the shops in my hometown thought that I was a tourist, which had never happened to me before. 

It was hilarious seeing their reaction, when I started to talk, because they would be shocked, hearing me speak croatian and not some other language. 

Eventhought some people, even after hearing me speak croatian, continued to speak english with me, so that was an odd experience.

All of these trips were, without any doubt, a lot fun, but the best part was yet to come! 

That was the seven day trip with my class at the very end of summer, which was common to do, after finishing the third year od high school. 

I was really excited to go and see my friends from class again! We didn't see each other for three whole months, because all of us went somewhere, like me on an island and in China, they went to Germany, Italy, Russia and so on. 

That is why the trip would be a great way to see all of them again!

I am sure they had as much of a desire as me, to tell everything they had experienced during their summer and many other things they learned during it. 

Furthermore, I waned to see them and hugged them, because I missed them a lot!

Fortunately the day came pretty quickly, when I had to go to the bus station where the last and finally trip of the summer would begin. 

At exactly midnight and one minute, the bus would start driving of to our first destination. 

The twenty-second of August, was the first day of the trip. My twin sister and I were one of the last people to have come to the meet up place, because honestly we waned to sleep just a bit longer, before we went there.

Everyone from my class, as I saw it, when we came there, were already in the bus. 

By entering the bus, the first thing that I saw was him, more precisely his eyes looking at me, more exactly my appearance, and then my eyes. 

All I could see, after laying my eyes on him, was him, the guy that I could not stand during the first two years that I knew him. Everything else around both of us just became blurry.

He changed a lot, he became more muscular, taller and as much as I hated to admit it, the word handsome, was the last thought that went threw my mind before I broke eye contact with him.
