The cruise across Atlantic
The waves were not as pleasant as usually. The wind was howling ,making me lose sleep. My father is in his room with his girlfriend. She doesn't deserve him and I hate the things he is putting me through. I'm happy he moved on. Mom's death was crucial for both of us. she died sick just 6 years ago so I had to grow up without her. However, technology made it easier for me. online classes were bearable and my whole social life was on my conputer. i missed her but I had to move on too. After 6 years dad found another woman to love. she is much younger than him and she has kids too. She is from London. although she claimed to be from " Old London" . I didn't know exactly the meaning of it. They moved on fast and now they want to live together at her place, in the countryside.
There was a long way to get there. I didn't want to go but dad sold everything we had in order to make his relationship work.
As my father and my stepmother had a good life in "Old England " , as this place that they claim it as.I, however, couldn't get used to the new lifestyle. I wasn't meant to be a farm girl or to live in the countryside. On the top of that I couldn't get on with my stepsisters.
In a place with no wifi, social media is useless. So is my phone.
The endless hours of talking with friends became lonely walks in the central area, getting away from the neighbors' guard dogs and stopping by the bakery... staring at the beautiful man who was cooking and decorating amazing cupcakes that I could never afford. Of course we were considered a wealthy familly. But this central bakery belongs to the prince William. He is the cook and the CEO of this place. The prices are just for other royal families...
However, I dont spend much time there.
