"Jake, I wish it were you, but you weren't there, and Hardin.." I sighed again trying to fight the tears, "Hardin, tried his best at taking care of me, he didn't give up on me. He got scared for me because I had a hard time to wake up at one point, we never told anyone that part and that's when I made the decision to mate with him and mark him. After that, I felt more energy for awhile until I jumped over that river the weakness came back again. I can't tell you how much I am sorry for that, I truly am, I don't want this one thing Hardin did to save my life to keep us from moving forward. That's all it was, it was an act to save my life, I wouldn't even call it making love or anything. That's how close I was to dying, I almost didn't wake up."
