Since high school, Lauren has been taller than others. He stood at the back of the team, didn't talk, and was not very sociable. He had excellent grades, solved problems quickly, didn't have the habit of spinning or biting the pen, and lay on the table after finishing writing. I don't know if he was really sleeping.

At that time, Ella always rushed to collect the papers. When collecting them, she hid a pen in her sleeve, pretended to count them once, and then counted them again, and filled in the blank spaces without anyone noticing. She always pulled Lauren's papers when collecting them. The paper was pressed under Lauren's arm, and when she pulled it, Lauren woke up. However,he did not stop his behavior and continued to sleep as usual.

One afternoon after class, Ella sat backwards on her chair, hugged the back of the chair with both hands, and chatted with a few friends as usual. Don't know who started the conversation first, but in the end they all started swearing.

"When the papers were handed in, I looked at someone's paper, but I got three out of ten multiple-choice questions wrong."

"Lauren, Ella wants to copy your paper," someone called out, causing Ella to pale and jump up angrily. Lauren calmly looked over, his hands crossed casually on the table.

Ella stuttered, trying to defuse the tension, but Lauren calmly confirmed, "Sure, if you need help."Lauren said seriously. That kind of calm demeanor can't be faked by others.

Ella, both relieved and embarrassed, playfully punched Lauren's shoulder, declaring him her new study buddy. A few days later, during exams, Ella confidently asked to sit next to Lauren to "share notes." Lauren, with a slight smile, obliged without hesitation.

"Hey, Lauren, let's skip the last class today and go on an adventure!" Ella suggested, leaning in conspiratorially.
