CHAPTER 3

Zen's POV

Day's had passed but still i can't move on. After all what he did and say,parang gumuho ang mundo 'ko.

Nagsisisi ako, pero eto naman 'yung ginusto 'ko diba?

Bat nga ba ako nasasaktan sa bagay na ako naman 'yung gumawa? at nagsimula?

"Zen, anak come down here." I heard Mom called me downstairs kaya naman nagmadali akong bumaba. I saw mom at the living room while holding a phone.

"What is it Mom?." i asked

"We're going to attend a party tomorrow. Go find clothes to wear." Mom said to me.

"What party is that?."

"Stop asking! Just follow me." Mom said kaya naman napa-buntomg hininga na lang ako at umakyat ulit sa kwarto.

Pero bago pa man ako makapasok ay may pahabol pa si Mommy."Casual dress lang Zen." And with that i enter and closed the door.

I start on finding a dress to wear, we'll casual lang daw. Hmm! Ano nga 'bang maganda'ng isuot?

Wait....This Black dress with a gold linings. Hmm! Mukhang maganda at bagay sa akin. Eto na lang!

Ni-ready 'ko na lang 'yun para bukas eh hindi ako magagahol sa oras.

Anong party kaya aattendan namin bukas? I'm just curious!

Morning came, and Mom told me n magpapa-salon daw kami para sa party later. Nalaman 'ko na 7 pm daw ang party at Debut daw ngayon.Hmm! Sino kaya ang magde-debut?

"Make her more beautiful than she is." I heard mom said to the gay in front of me.

"Salute Mother! Trust me." The gay replied and started to manage my hair.

5 hours passed.

At last! He's done! Ugh! Grabe ang tagal 'kong nakaupo dun ah!

"She's finished Mother. You two look perfectly gorgeous and beautiful." The gay said again. If i know bolera lang sya.

"Thank you Pia." Mom said bago ako lingunin." Let's go! 5 Pm na at magbi-bihis pa tayo." Mom said.

I nodded."Okay Mom." at lumabas na kami ng salon.

Pagdating namin sa bahay, nagbihis lang ako ng Black dress 'ko at nagsuot ng 2 inches heels. We'll ayoko 'nang masyadong mataas na takong. Feeling 'ko matatapilok ako .

When we're both ready, agad kaming sumakay ng kotse. When we get in, agad naman akong may napansin." Mom! Where's Dad?." I asked.

"Nauna na sa party. We'll Bermudez Family wants to talk to him." And when i heard that and definitely THAT surname nalungkot na naman ako.

1 and a half months na pala since he agreed na hindi 'ko na sya fiance. Haist!

Hanggang ngayon,pinagsisisihan 'ko lahat ng nangyari.

BUT WAIT---DID I HEAR IT RIGHT? DAD AND BERMUDEZ FAMILY ARE TALKING RIGHT NOW? About what????

OMG!

"Ano 'pong pag-uusapan nila?." i asked with a confused look. Tinignan 'lang ako ni Mom and then she shrugged her shoulders.

What was that? She also doesn't know? ?____?

Nakaka-curious tuloy!

"We're here. Let's go. Magsisimula na ang party in less than 10 minutes. Come on." I heard Mom said then get out from the car. Agad 'na 'din naman akong sumunod sa pagbaba.

Isang 5-star hotel ang pinag-dausan ng party, andaming 'tao, 'yung iba kilala 'ko pero karamihan 'ngayon 'ko lang nakita. But there is one thing that i am sure about..And that is the thought that Bermudez family is here. Including Jin.

I can't stop myself from asking 'kung kamusta na 'sya?. 'Kung masaya 'ba 'sya?

*Sigh*

"Is it too late for us?." di 'ko inaasahang natanong sa sarili 'ko.

"Iha, sino 'ba ang kausap 'mo diyan? Tara na." Nabalik lang ako sa reality 'nang magsalita si Mom. Napatingin ako sa kanya at ilang hakbang na pala ang layo 'nya sakin. "Come on." Mom added.

I nodded." Yes po." i answered and follow her.

When we get inside the hotel, bumungad sakin ang napaka-gandang theme ng party. Black and Gold ang motive ng party. Timing pa dahil Black with gold linings ang suot 'kong damit. Destiny huh?

Pero there's one question is running in my mind right now,

Kaninong party 'to?

"Ija, just sit here okay? Don't leave. Pupuntahan 'ko lang ang Daddy mo. And when the party started just go with the flow kahit wala kami." Mom said and i just nodded. Then after that mom left me.

Minutes had passed pero 'wala pa 'din si Mom. I wonder 'kung san nag-meeting ang Bermudez at si Dad. Hmm!

"Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen! Are you all, ready for the party?."

Napatingin ako sa stage when someone talk. Ah 'yung host pala ng party ang nagsalita that means start na ng party. At wala 'pa nga talaga sila Mommy.

"Yes, we're ready!! Whoo! ."

Sigaw 'yan ng iba'ng guest. Seriously?

"And because you are all ready ,then let's start the party. But wait! Let's just first welcome our Birthday Celebrant! Give him a round of applause. Please welcome, Mr. Jin Peter Bermudez. "

After what the host said, palakpakan na ang narinig 'ko. Kasunod 'nun ang isang lalaki na paakyat ng stage. Naka-formal wear ito at 'parang napaka-lata 'nya tignan. Para'ng ayaw nya.

Pero 'nang ma-process ng utak 'ko ang sinabi 'nung host at 'yung nakita 'ko, bigla 'na lang parang tumigil ang mundo ko. Tanging sa kanya 'lang naka-focus ang mata 'ko. What the hell!

'Sya 'yung may birthday?

OMG! It's his 21st birthday???

Oh god!

Di 'ko alam pero biglang may pumatak 'na luha galing sa mga mata 'ko.

September 02 20** , Saturday.

Ika-21st birthday 'nya ngayon.

At 'kung hindi 'ko nasabi 'yung mga salitang binitawan 'ko sa kanya, bukas na sana.

Bukas na sana magaganap ang mahalagang araw na 'yun.
